  • I think the price is meant to be for the first Pure-Fi Anywhere. It's listed as a clearance item on the OW website.

I couldn't make out the item number on the ticket but it looks like the last 4 characters match up.
Not going to vote until some more clarification is made, but it looks like you got a bargain by clerical mistake.

  • Good price bought the black a few months ago for $75 at OW but have to take it back for a replacement because the remote stop working.

My remote stopped working after 2 months. Replacing the batteries had no effect so took it back. Despite this, still an awesome little docking set.

Yeah that is a common problem, also if using the 3mm audio in with smartphone. You have to turn the volume on the phone high otherwise the speaker will go into sleep by itself.

  • Yeah price is for Anywhere. They have the Anywhere 2 on the shelf, but it'd scan at full price of $125

Did you buy at this price?

    • +1

as per deal description and your search, the black is $125, white $55 - i bought the white as per uploaded image for $55 :)

      • Yeah I think nobody will buy the white if same price.

      • +2

Price Tag is for "Anywhere". Item pictured is "Anywhere 2". Seems they've stuffed up, to your advantage.

        • I think is just the web site stuffed up, I don't think they still have the anywhere 1.

  • what's the difference?

  • Does not support iphone?

  • Can you post receipt for price matching purposes :) ?

  • Does this support non iPod/iPhone devices?

    EDIT: Answered my own question.

Supports iPhone™ and all iPod models with dock connector
Supports 1G-3G iPod models (and other portable music players) via 3.5 mm auxiliary input

  • The main difference between the anywhere1 and anywhere2 is that the anywhere2 has better RF screening so that the speakers don't pickup mobile interference and so don't make weird noises when your phone is sending/receiving SMSs etc. The iphone will still plug in and work on an anywhere1, if you don't mind the odd clicking and buzzing noises.

NB this won't work with the iPhone 5 when it is released :)

    • I hope those rumours are wrong…

      • there's always the std 3.5mm stereo aux in jack :)

        • +1

SQ is reduced when using the 3.5mm, and it's got more to do with portable amps and LODs. Yeah LODs are replaceable but it takes time for people to reverse engineer them.
Also with 3.5mm jacks you lose all functionality that the docks were designed to do, remote control, charge, and the simple "dump and play".

  • Can u pls upload the receipt so we can price match

  • Hi All

I just purchased one off officeworks website for a friend.

    https://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/iP…

It says this in the list of features: Logitech® Pure-Fi Anywhere™ 2 speaker system

So who knows if it's the 1 or 2. I have the '2' at home so we will see if there's any difference when it arrives.

  • No need to price match as the 2 scans up as $55. Got mine today :)

  • I got mine delivered today, and they are the Anywhere 2, not the Anywhere 1
