    Best for PC or Laptop

What else are you going to use it for?

    • NUC.

      Stocking filler.

      USB blanking plate.

      • Stocking filler.

Doesn't fill a stocking very much

  • Does Windows 10 pick it up automatically on a clean install? Would replace a older 54mbps dongle for parents if so. Need to have seperate drivers for that….

    • yes, it should.

  • The Comfast has been popular on here in the past.

    It's cheaper than this post - $1.99 + GST (~AU$3.20 delivered)

yeah but going by the specs, this one is 300 but the comfast is a 150 only unit

i feel like 2.4 is kind of… hmm… these days but cant expect much for a few bucks

    • It's also only 1T1R.

Granted, the speed was already going to be abysmal with a 2.4ghz 11n adapter, but why make that worse?

    For those who are interest:
The chipset is RTL8192FM. I believe most SBC Linux distro do not have its driver built in?

I am certain most revisions of 8188 won’t work out of the box, and I assume 8192 series will be the same.

  • This is cheap, how much will AC or ax cost?

      • Just bought one of these for my (hardly used) Windows/Mint Linux notebook (which I broke the internal UFL connectors on for the internal card) . Automatically picked up in Windows and easy to install drivers for in Linux. Performance is good. Based on RTL8811CU

      • Wow, that one also works with "Window", "MasOS" and "Limux"

Should be widow, mistress, and lovefriend

  • OP any deals for 5GHZ?

    • sorry, not this time.

  • Good
