The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase

    • This message came up when applying the code more than once. But i got the 25% discount.

      • +1

I've tried it multiple times but still doesn't work

        • I got same message in red , but check the price they are charging you, as I find that it was applied.

          eg Blender

The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.

          Order Summary

          Items: $63.96
          Delivery: $0.00
          Total: $63.96
          Promotion(s) Applied: -$20.99
          Order Total $42.97

Update. I placed order and got discount. I then tried to buy another product and discount not applied, so it maybe a onetime only discount. Ie buy everything in one order.

  • Thanks op. Ordered a garment steamer for $51.75 - about the same price on the prime day before

If you can get the discount, it brings the EM7200 dual thermo-block coffee machine down to an excellent price. I got it for $572 during the Prime Day. Start up time is a few minutes and you can pour a shot and steam simultaneously. Paired with a decent grinder and fresh, quality beans I can pump out a milk coffee better than many coffee shops.

    • $611.25 with discount

      • Coupon worked for me, weirdly mine showed $587 after discount.

Noticed, dropped more after i posted

  • EM0440 grinder any better than the grinder on the EM5300?

    • Honestly I’ve had no issues with the grinder on the barista max

    • Nah, the EM0440 is very crude. I would bet the one in the 5300 is better (can't be any worse).

      • Thanks, will look for another option

        • On choice the review is favourable (re - EM0440). But the members review indicate its not great for espresso.

We originally used this grinder with dual wall filter baskets (the ones with the tiny hole at the bottom) which did the job fine. After upgrading our coffee machine and transitioned to the better quality single wall filters, we noticed that the grinder could not grind fine enough for espresso. Reading the other reviews, it seems this is a common issue.
Therefore, if you're going to be using single wall filter baskets, DO NOT purchase this product, otherwise you'll be getting sour, under-extracted coffee.
The grinds are a bit messy when coming out of the spout, so regular cleaning is required.
One thing I like is that the grinder is narrow and doesn't take up too much space.

I’ve been very happy with the EM5300
Even the little LED on the grinder is convenient for a midnight shot of coffee

          • @[Deactivated]: Sorry should have been more specific, I was replying to Herb's EM0440 query (edited my post to reflect this)

    Can't apply the code

  • Any cash backs currently giving better then 0%?

  • Code worked once then I wanted to order another but now it is not working, wonder it is single use per prime member only!

  • Code works. Now I can justify buying the $100 toaster that I wanted as I didn't need to spend $100, thanks OP.

  • +1

I cancelled my initial order and reordered with other items then code worked. So I am guessing single use code per user.

Sunbeam Barista Max EM5300K for $343 looks like a pretty good deal, the 25% off stacks with a 10% code applied on the product. Cheaper than the prime day lightning special.

    • What is the difference between Barista max and the Barista plus ?

And there is a stainless steel with RRP 499$. Is that the same as this one (mode number not mentioned )

      • Not 100% sure on the differences between the 2, but the stainless steel one and this one linked is just the colour. They're both EM5300, but different variants. Unfortunately the SS doesn't have the 10% coupon though.

        • +1

The SS colour is the same price as the black colour. You just need to look for the one same price before discount $519 (with a small print save $43.10 at checkout next to the price). Net price after 25% off is $346.31.

      • Barista Plus has a small LED display screen.

    Thanks, bought a frypan.
Not a prime member. I wasn't sure if it would work
    .

  • Purchased an iron and received another $10 off. Said Ultimate? Does anyone know what this could be? Not complaining.

  • Peeps, first buy for a manual coffee machine. Any recommendations here ? Will the Barista Max or Barista Plus be a good buy at these discounted prices and how do these compare with the Breville ones ?

Any recommendation for coffee beans as well please ?

Note - I haven't used a manual machine regularly except the odd days in office when I don't buy from a cafe, so no expert here

I mentioned the EM7200 dual thermo-block coffee above. Excellent machine. Been around a long time and updated over the years. Doesn't have a built in grinder which is a plus for many. You get pre-programmed single or double shot, or you can do it manually using the espresso and milk dials. Also has a PID.

      • Thanks. Will take a look

      • Second this. Makes excellent coffee for the price, and for me the humble EM7100 became the gateway to the coffee hobby. Just make sure to also get a decent grinder (auto or manual) as that is just as important (think espresso machine = CPU and grinder = GPU in a gaming PC).

        • Fresh beans = games. :)

      • I've got the 7000 model paired with a Breville Smart Grinder. Has worked well for me (approx 5 years old now I think). Slight leak but otherwise still going strong.

    Any good kettle from them?

  • WELP that sucks for me, just bought a stick master on Saturday

  • Looks like it works only on selected items.. not all.
