Hey Folks,

I’ve been waiting for these to come down from $99 again, and although they have been a little cheaper in the past, this is still a great price.

The RRP is $119

I’ve got a few Anker products, and can vouch for their excellent quality

Hope this helps someone 👍

Hard to say this is a deal when you can get Baseus 20k 65W powerbank for $75.99 normal price, $60.79 on sale.

I would say Anker is a much better brand

      • +4

Anker is a better brand imo. The only difference between the two is that Baseus has up to 65w PD compared to only 18w on Anker.

This is a big difference tho, 65W means you can charge laptops with it too. More uses for less than 10% price increase.

If you wanna compare like to like Baseus 20W 20,000mAh is currently $37.83 with OCT202212 code

I'm not saying don't buy this, but there are cheaper alternatives that are regularly posted on ozbargain, including plenty of positive reviews from buyers in comments.

          • @CodeXD: [Baseus 100w 20,000 is currently around $85 with OCT202212 code] (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/313709345779)

            • @techno2000: I was showing examples of what other power bank you can get compared to this deal in a similar price range. Also similar power bank with same spec but nearly half the price.

The 100W is a decent deal, but doesn't help me proof my point ahaha

I got a Baseus and it's been great to me

Note that charging the power bank itself is 18W but it can charge devices at 20W.

    • I had a bad experience with this brand a few years ago.. Made the house smell burnt after it cooked itself

  • Can this charge laptop via USB-C!?

    • +1

      No, laptops need minimum 45W.

  • Can this be taken as a carry on item for oversea travel?

    • +2

      Yes.

This 20000mAh, the upper limit to take on plane carry on is around 27000mAh.

  • Can this thing charge a Dell XPS?
It says power delivery, but it says max power output 20W?

    • +1

This won't be able to charge any laptops.
