  • Anyone know a cheap way to get my head Ti radical restrung? These days it’s almost better to buy a new racquet than get restrung it seems..

    • I got someone local to restring my racquet for $35, it definitely shouldn't cost more than that.

    • +2

Smaller sport stores or any local tennis club should be able to restring for you for ~30-40 dollars. If that's more than what your racquet costs then you may want to invest in a nicer racquet if you are enjoying your tennis!

    • Where are you getting quotes from? FB marketplace has plenty of local stringers, I've got a guy in point cook VIC that does it for $35-40

    • The restring consists of two costs. The service to do the restring and the string that they use.

Cheap string means cheap restring but they will probably go dead or die faster.

If you restring a lot then you're best off buying string in bulk and then get someone cheap to do the job

  • +1

    daring new design

Still looks like a regular tennis racquet to me.

  • Worthwhile to invest in a good balanced racket especially fast swinging ones. Strings - you should look at Amazon and buy your own and get them strung. Usually between $20-30 for bringing your own strings. Depends on the type of strings you get - poly ones you would want to change at least every 6 months to keep the tension if not not earlier.

  • Thought this one is for liking mozzies
