You seem to be going in the wrong direction for 128GB. You couldn't beat $125?

    • How about i price match?? i have updated.

      • How about $3 delivery to make it $1 per GB for the 128GB SSD

        • Sorry I have no control over delivery / postage, we just pass on the charge that the post office charges us.
Always welcome to come pick it up :)

        • :) LOL, I was a bit confused because the last deal I was looking at had $3 shipping.
But I only just noticed it was for another computer store.

I guess it'd be asking too much for you guys to drop the price down to $120.
It's a bit tricky for me to get to Burwood. :o

        • +3

sorry $120 is over kill… hehehe

$125 i can do. but can't do any lower.

depending on how many likes we get, we might do a massive sale on saturday.

        • +4

$124.50 ? … with 50c u can save another $50c somewhere else, then go to the dollar store…. ~come on, be a man!

        • i didnt know russell peters was on ozbargain

        • lollllll

  • Argh, why don't the 512gb ones match the $/gb price of the smaller capacity ones. :\

  • Can you do a deal on the ocz vertex 4?

    • how many gigs?

      • 128

        • If you can come into our store, i can do it for $145. Which would make it the cheapest anywhere..

        • When do I have to come in? I plan to buy some other parts as well.

        • umm well anytime when we are open….

we have heaps of other parts in stock place an order online, or just come in and i can help you pick parts. as well as give you discounts.

    Supermarket format :)

    128GB @ $127 ($0.992 per GB)
    256GB @ $280 ($1.094 per GB)

  • Just noticed that the title for the price changed to $125 instead of $127. Great deal, especially when the previous post has expired. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/74003

    • also, we have plenty of stock. And if your anywhere near burwood or strathfield you can come pick it up easily.

      • Could you please amend mine to $125 please as I saw it on the invoice to be $127. Thanks for your help Rep.

        • Done

        • Cheers mate.

  • Ah ronaldo is back !

how about update your FB pages with deals too, just in case we miss your post here..

nice deal BTW - will be over to pick one up

    • if i don't enough likes on here, i won't be able to post specials up.

i will update webpage in the next few days/weeks.
      not good at using facebook….

  • Ronaldo, any chance/knowledge whether the 512gb Samsung 830's will be getting a similar price/gb point soon?

    • not anytime soon :)

    • The 512gb's are still around the mid to high 600's. Its not really worth getting at the moment.

  • I thought 256gb SSD Drives were about $200. Wasn't there some crucial one on Ozbargain for that price not long ago?

    • The Crucial ssd's that were on ozbargain are shipped from USA. Therefore it would be harder to do warranty. and the samsungs are better :)

  • when do you have a stock for Liteon s100?

    • +1

From my understanding.. the liton s100 issn't a good ssd.

  • Ronaldo, are these the exact same ssd's that Apple put in their computers? I've had a couple of OCZ's gone bad on me in my macs and need replacements. I'd like to use the same as Apple uses.

    • no :)

    • I think these would be better than the one apple uses.

  • Apple uses Toshiba right? But these are not the same. Does anyone besides Apple sell the same Toshiba drives?

    • Apple use, Intel and Samsung SSD drives

  • Apple uses Toshiba and Samsung SSD's. I wasn't aware they use Intel, are you sure? I'm ordering one of these and hope the're better than the crap OCZ's I've had.

    • only new apples have been using intel SSD's… befor that they were too exp.

  • +1

Hope I can find this elsewhere as I've have bad experiences with IJK (they don't honour warranties period).

  • +3

I would stay away from these guys the service is very poor!

    • +1

Yeah, it's a little lousy. They made be pay for delivery to send back Billion router! A mate also returned a Billion router to MSY and didn't pay a cent. However, I've used them for years and am a returning customer. They ship twice a day (morning and afternoon) and use couriers, very fast delivery!! Their prices are average, but they are always the fastest for deliveries.

      • +2

Actually Jon (he's the RMA head, now sales maybe) tried to extort money out of me for a PSU which failed under warranty. What he did was illegal and confirmed so by fair trading. He then proceeded the stone wall. Shame it was a $250+ PSU.

I'll never forget it, nor will I forget the phone calls he's hung up on.

Ronaldo, I dare you to ask Jon about RMA # 1222. See what he says.

    • -2

Our company has been in the computer industry for more than 15years. We do our best to give the best service possible while still providing LOW pricing.

If you do have any issue's don't hesitate to email me [email protected]

      • +2

So what did Jon say about the RMA #?

  • Planning to move over to ssd, spec sheet of this samsung drives look better than Crucial - is it only on spec sheet or they do deliver?

  • +3

I've been buying from them for what has to be 6 years now, I've always had excellent experience with them. However I can only vouch for pickup, have never got anything shipped from them.

  • OK guys!!!

128gb sold out - which means sale ends for those

However we still have alot of the samsung 830 256gb left in stock!!!

    • +1

The 128GB deal was unbeatable even on eBay…, But as for the 256GB deal…

I can get it for $30 cheaper locally and internationally including P/H at many places…, good luck @ $280+$8P/H…! ;)

      • +2

where can you get it cheaper?

        • -1

umm cheaper?? .. i just ordered one from pccasegear for $337 because its not "much" cheaper at other places.. and just encase something goes wrong they do great RMA returns

        • i just ordered one from pccasegear for $337 because its not "much" cheaper…

Shipped??? Coz if it ain't then you are skating perilously close to having your bargain visa revoked, boyo! ;)

        • Yes shipped.. i could have got it for $309 pick up at ARC but i didn't want to wait for stock and i was willing to pay extra to get it ASAP

        • You could of had it for $280 pick up from IJK in enfield.

  • +3

I would never buy from a company that has not done the right thing by some OzBargain members. Much better to pay a few dollars more and buy from someone reputable imo.

    • Did you have an issue too with this store? I doubt we are the only ones, and I doubt whether they'll do a thing other than ignore (as above).

  • +4

I placed an order at around 12.30 today and it's now 5pm. I've received 4 emails to go through the verification process to pay and still haven't been able to buy the 256GB although "we still have alot of the samsung 830 256gb left in stock!!!" (I'm waiting on the 5th email to give my credit card details I guess). If this is the process it takes to buy from these guys I'd hate to try and return anything faulty.

    • i got my 830 256gb yesterday but i did order it from pccasgear :)

  • +3

8pm and still no email on how I can pay for my order. I'm keen to slam my money on the counter and get the goods but no go!
Rep, don't you want my money? Forget about after sales service, before sales service is crap!

    • +1

Contact these guys: http://www.netplus.com.au/product/HDSSDSA830-0256/256Gb_Sams… & ask when they're getting stock back in…it might end up costing you $10 more, but it's still a good price! :)

    • Sorry IJK closes at 6::30.

but first thing tomorrow, i'll verify your details for credit card payment.

    • -1

Consider it a blessing in disguise. If the reseller doesn't want your money or makes it troublesome for you to purchase, probably not worth your time. Judging from my experiences as well as others you're doing yourself a favour.

Even this rep isn't keen to answer a single question.

      hi bellyup,

Could i get your order number so i can further help you with your order?
