I just wanted a Punch tool as I only just found out they exist and they can be used for a million things like undoing one direction security screws and popping out hinge pins. you can probably use them to mark a spot to drill too.

The Punch Tool also seems to come with some questionable quality drill bits with claims they can drill, tap and cut all with one drill bit….

Make sure you select Apply $5 voucher when purchasing to bring down the price from $7.99

    OOS

  • Maybe they're weird but they're perfectly ok for soft metals and plastic. I use them mostly in aluminium profiles when I don't need the precision. They're easy to use.

    • I was going to say, even so you'd have to go nice and slow when tapping with drill ?

Although I personally like to tap hard when I drill 😎

      • Personal preference 😎 like with anything cheap, you can do as you please 😎

I look away for five minutes…

  • I think they're a drill, and tap, in one.

Edit: yep, they sure are. They have Metric sizes, and thread pitch on the sides.

Rats, i needed those. Ah well. Ill add them to the watch list.

    Material ‎High Speed Steel

    I think they misspelled "butter"

    • HSS is cheap and strong.

And since these are designed to be used at VERY low speeds, and backed off after every turn; even the cheapest should do.

        Full send you say?

        • If it's got a 1/4 inch hex it's going in the impact driver.

      • and backed off after every turn

These are spiral-fluted taps, so no need to back off. Backing off is for straight-fluted taps.

        • Very true No need; but your cheap taps will thank you for the extra lube if you do.
