  • My daughter grabbed one of these for BTV festival and she was really happy with it. Absolutely filled it with tents and camping gear and had no problem 👍

  • Reviews aren't great on Anaconda

Bought it when it was 79 last time.
Canopy is bit useless that it might get blown away easily, there are no Velcro or strap to hold it there.
The locks are not that convenient depending on if you are pushing or pulling the thing because they are located on one side of the wheel.
I haven't taken mine to the beach yet, only done it on hard surfaces which were OK.

  • There is so many types of these carts I can never pick which one to get. Does anyone know which one is exactly the best one to buy?

    • I personally went with BCF's Wanderer wagon.

Bought one during Boxing Day 2022 sales for just $89 ($99 minus 20% off welcome offer for new BCF member). It's very compact when folded, when compared to Anaconda's model. BCF's can fit in the trunk of a SUV without occupying much space.

also happy with my BCF wanderer version

    • I got one from rebel last year, the tyres aren’t the best on the beach once esky coolcab and 2 beach chairs are on, however great on the park/grass/footpath.

Far better design, better warranty and on sale too.

Note if it comes with the canopy, that part sucks putting up and I am surprised they didn't fix the design.

      • With a keynote video on their website, very fancy!

I like the designs of the vuly, bit of a change from 'cheap tarpaulin blue' of most others.

      • Yes, it looks really nice. It seems the new model don't have the canopy.

        • Yep, I confirmed this when researching. Rep said they got rid of it after too many faults and returns.

    • I ended up with this one for $109 after a week of researching. Canopy is great if you have kids in it.

Having said that, if your wife buys a blue and white CoolCabana which seems to be the thing to do these days, canopy is not as important. Go the Vuly if you don't need canopy.

Just FYI, even in folded position it's still massive, almost as wide as the trunk compartment of a medium SUV (e.g. Mazda CX-5). It'll occupy so much space in the trunk, you'll end up having much less space for other stuff.
Definitely not compact, but cheaper than the other brands with the inclusion of the wheel brakes, canopy, push handle & the side pouch.

BCF's Wanderer wagon is much more compact when folded, compared to Anaconda's.

It's back to full price now, but I managed to bought one during Boxing Day 2022 sales for just $89 ($99 minus 20% off welcome offer for new BCF member).

I've got this one and original without canopy/foot brakes - both are great and can't fault them.

Canopy is better for us because got small children who sleep in it and when it's not too packed get a ride in it as it's usually faster then letting them walk or carrying them.

The canopy arms extend up out of the wagon which is great as it's one less thing to carry/lose.

We over fill ours and have a couple occy straps to go with it as we'll usually over fill it. Grab handle on the canopy is good for getting up sandy/rocky hills where you need two people to get to top.

No wagon is going to be perfect for getting across sand but we take it across the wet sand and after each beach use we hose down the wheels and haven't had any issues of sand build up or issues with wheels moving.

Was also using it for a portacot in our caravan.

    • Is there a grab handle on the canopy itself? I see the handle at the front, and the push handle at the other end - is that what you meant?

Also how do you find the brakes on this?

      • No handle on the canopy

Brakes are on the centre of the wheels.

Have a $50 Kmart one with no canopy, works brilliantly add folds up nicely

  • +1

Got the Kmart one with canopy
Works well except it cannot stand on its own when folded

I got gifted one of these last year and think they're alright. I'm shocked that one is posted every week on here tho.

  • Will this be good for carrying my little bb boy in it on the sand, the canopy is good for some shades too
