expired Free Sample of OXY Facewash
This was posted 11 months 2 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
Free sample of their face wash (for males). I have been using an older version of their body wash as soap irritates my skin. It was better than the regular body washes I have been using. The blurb on the web site says:
Proven to tackle spots, blackheads and excessive oils within 48 hours.
Contains micro pearls
CONTAINS marine plant extract
Skin feels refreshed
NB no expiry date given on the web site so the date above is bogus, sorry.

+7 votesSo because some of the foods and products we buy may be manufactured overseas we shouldn't at all care for manufacturing here in Australia?
Even if you buying made in Australia from local and imported at least you supporting some jobs here.
Not sure why tommy got negged so much. He is only pointing out who owns the company.
-8 votesalwayseric on 19/07/2012 - 07:53 ¶glad you picked up one particular country, China.
please do NOT buy anything manufactured in China by Chinese. Enjoy your better life with "the product made here". i am sure you can live very well in the bushland.

Ah the usual response.
If there is no Aussie alternate and I need the product then I will buy the Chinese product.
I'm not sure whats your problem. All I said we should just try to buy products made here in Australia. I'm a bad man because I enjoy my part Aussie made/full Aussie products? I want jobs here?
I assume my comment offended/hurt you in some way?
macharmaine on 19/07/2012 - 14:10 ¶funny how ppl are always saying something about "made in china" in a negative way.. if no body is buying they wouldn't be selling would they?? if ppl don't like stuff made in china, why don't they go home and chuck everything they own that is made in china? what will be left in their house? no furniture, no pots n pans, no cutlery, no whitegoods/ appliances. no clothes/shoes/bags/linen. If i do that I'd be left with only my Italian boots & leather jacket!! and I won't be able to write this message cos my computer & phone are also made in china!
+4 votes@ Macgyver - Agree with you 100% mate. Although I'm not a real Aussie, I do care for the future of the country I chose to call home. We shouldn't rely on "China" too much - cheap stuffs contribute to land wastes!
If manufacturers want my money they have to bring jobs back home - ie OZ.
+1 voteThese items once were manufactured here. My parents still had a 1970's Whirlpool refrigerator that they only recently disposed of earlier this year. I couldn't believe seeing the 'Made in Australia' on the back panel. It was eerie.. you just don't see that any-more on those items. Similarly an orbital sander they had in the garage, sewing machine… the list goes on.
Nowadays everything is sourced from all corners of the globe. That's not necessarily a good or bad thing. However, it is where the profits of the companies that manufacture and sell these things go. Some have mentioned 'jobs' above but also equally important is where a company pays its taxes and invests its profits. If here in Australia, then that is redistributed (by the government) back into our own country. Why does that matter? Well when you're older, retired and wanting to use your superannuation funds and access healthcare - how will it be funded?

wet-n-dry for me!
Seriously though. I get a standard amount of ingrowns, pimples etc. Almost always when I shave with a blade more than once a week. If I use this OXY stuff even once a week, my face is squeaky clean & the problems go. One tube (?) of this stuff lasts me 6 months easily. Found it at Priceline when I was buying my shaving gel.
More than happy to pay for this product, but there's nothing like a freebie :D

I'm an average bloke, and I'll use 'soap' until death! All that lady's scented body-wash crap drives me mental. I don't know how men (boys) can use them. I feel horrible & slimey after using it, and they're just-plain-weird to use anyway. What, you lather-up with a loofah (spelling?). Ah jaysus.
Every couple of months, soap would finally catch-up with me, and start giving me cracking elbows, weird (crazy sore) blisters on my hands etc. ~5 years ago, I got onto that Natural Selections Sorbolene 'soap'… And I'll never use anything else. Cupboard's full of stock, and I cannot fault it!
tanoshiiki on 19/07/2012 - 14:40 ¶The facewash products you have tried in the past have probably been too strong, with active ingredients that probably do not agree with your skin.
Most Oxy products tend to be Benzyl Peroxide based, which is too harsh for my skin. Not sure if this particular one is though.
