Does it still hold up compared to some of the awesome Dell deals that have been popping up?

        • Xiaomi one doesn't have usb-c though

Dell have one that they always have on sale for around the same price. 144hz 2k. Pretty good monitor. Doesn't have USB C though

      Unless you're after the usb-c

      • Yep that’s why I pulled the trigger on this one

      • What benifit is usbc?

        • Can power my laptop, connect monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc all with one cable

    • Now that you've stated the price comparison, can you now compare the specs?

  • Absolutely no offence to those posting tech deals but is there a way to filter them out? So many deals on IT hardware and software.

  • Hmmm wonder if the curvature is still alright if you watch a movie on it 2m afar

This one usually come down to around $500-600 when on special.
100hz and has usb c if you are interested.

  • The USB feature, would it be the same if I just got a USB-C dock (with power), connect it up to a monitor (HDMI and sound if the monitor has speakers) and use like double sided tape with Velcro and slap it on the back of the monitor?

    • No, a dock will probably use displaylink for HDMI. Displaylink sucks except for purely office use, MS Office/Excel etc.

      • I don’t think there’s a lot of USB-C docks that uses DisplayLink since USB-C (and 3.1) has enough throughout.

At least when I’m looking for USB-C docks these days I don’t see any DisplayLink ones. Only the USB-A (3.0 or 2.0) docks that seem to have DisplayLink.

  • Monitor is in stock again
