Wow all sizes too. Nice find OP

    • The sizing comments are a bit confusing. They are saying to just buy your normal shoe size.

Don't rush in and order your normal bike shoe size.

They deliver to Australia daily. They even have a warehouse in Australia.
I buy from wiggle regularly and have never had a single problem.

    • +1

Never had an issue of them not delivering from UK to Australia in the past 10 years…

    • +1

I've been ordering from wiggle since 2013 without issues. I've spent $1k on a single order last year, came via DHL express from the UK. I never had to interact with them so can't say where their employees might be based.

      • In 2015 I had an order go missing. I contacted their support email and they ended up re-sending the order.

        • Had similar experience with missing order, I contacted them and they just resent it, about a month later the original one ended up showing up. I contacted them to return and the UK based staff member I emailed with just said to keep it.

    • Yeah nah - ive ordered heaps of shit from wiggle without issue

    • Wiggle is a legitimate company, that I have ordered from many tens of times without any issue. Occasionally the boxes have arrived a little battered but nothing has ever been missing.
They are genuinely UK based and whenever I have ordered from them it has been sent from the UK. I have never had any need to deal with their customer service although it is quite possible this is not based in the UK.

DHB is their in-house brand and is generally of reasonable quality. I often buy their shorts for example.

Iā€™m not sure what happened to chiragchaplot but these shoes seem a good deal! Thanks OP

    • Considering how many OzB posts there have been in the past…

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/wiggle.com.au

    • just got my order on friday

    • I'm pretty sure Wiggle is UK based - I used to live in London and every week somebody in the office would have a wiggle delivery…

And I just received my Advent X groupset that I posted on the other thread, shipped from WV14 7BR

Made from "synthetic" leather aka pleather

    • Vegan leather, right on.

    • Good, so it should be these days and lighter :).

      • -4

        Vegan spotted.

        • +4

          Carnivore spotted lol
Nothing wrong with more sustainable and ethical materials, most car seats aren't full leather anymore and no need.

        • +1

I'm sure he'd tell you anyway.

          • +3

@chickentaste: I don't actually, but I reckon keto and crossfitters tell everyone too.

  • They look like ordinary waffle shoes.

    • +5

The soles are rigid and have cutouts for mounting SPD cleats.

  • Thanks OP bought 10 to get the free shipping!

    • +5

      Centipede?

      • +1

He wants to save every cent-a-penny

  • +5

Cheap indeed. But i wouldn't bother with lace up shoes if they were free. Velcro, Ratchet or BOA just not laces. PITA..

    • +1

Giro Empire Knits are by far the most comfortable cycling shoes i've had and they're laces, They are road shoes though not MTB

      • Same, I've got the empire slx and they are there most comfy shoes I've had, lighter as well. The laces are not only cool but work well and have never needed to adjust etc. Only takes an extra 10s (and people watch hours of tv a night).

        • +1

I guess I'm annoyed by them mostly because I always wear full finger gloves. Cant do laces with gloves on, cant easily adjust and the shimano ones I had always loosened a bit during a ride.

          • @MisterNobody: Yeah fair enough, I use for road and short finger gloves so not saying everyone has to like or use them :).

Boas are good, some road shoes are crazy expensive these days whatever you get ha.

Got wide feet and tried the MTB version which was Giro Knit VR70… I went one size up and still not comfortable. I sold it and got Shimano XC300 instead.

        • I guess this is why the make cycling shoes with all types of fasteners, different strokes for different folks

        • +1 for the Shimano XC300

Got 99bikes to price match Pushys at $92 and have already done 100km's without any issues

The Single BOA is super convenient, yes less control than laces or dual BOA but ease of use is what I prefer

          • @blankie: yeah, i find my feet usually swells a bit after 1 hour or so riding and this where even a single BOA dial can be handy…

  • +1

Thanks op…needed some cheapies that I can actually walk in

  • +1

    Ozbargained

  • do you think these can be used as ordinary shoes? or maybe hiking sort of shoes?

    • +2

No the soles have 0 flex. Can walk a little rather than road shoes but only made for riding

    • +3

Definitely not. They are cycling shoes that are designed to be walked in, not walking shoes that you can cycle in… ;-)

Think of them as 'walkable' - you can jump off your bike and walk part of a tricky trail, but if you tried to walk the whole trail in them you'd want to cut your feet off… :-)

      • +1

User name does not check out- surely you're not a C grade cyclist šŸ˜‰

  • Thanks OP. Always ridden my mtb in sneakers & flat pedals, and have wanted to give a SPD shoe a try. This is a cheap & easy way to give it a crack! :-)

  • Lots of sizes were unavailable earlier this morning but now available again.

  • Is it worth at $35.84? is it good for walking/running?

    • +1

no, only mountain biking - you wouldn't want to walk more than 50m or so

      (not carbon but rigid soles)

      • What would happen if i were to wear it for walking

        • It's just super stiff that's all - you won't be able to easily lift your heel.

        • The metal cleats would also scrape the ground

        • Why would, some kt26 would be better ..
Cleats wouldn't scrape obviously old Mate not a cyclist

  • Comes up as $17 for me

    • Looks to have been reduced even further.

  • +1

    Title updated - now $17, save 88%.

    • Thanks, it was in my cart due to $14 shipping fee but this made me buy it

  • Compared to local e-retailers (pushys, 99, bikebug etc..), Wiggle is ridiculously cheap.

    • I find the the locals' regular pricing is now generally on par with Wiggle for brand name products.

Wiggle's cheaper products tend to be their own-brand products like dHb, Lifeline, Ragley, Nukeproof, Vitus and so on.

    • I haven't bought anything from wiggle for years.. bikebug is good and there's a store locally I can usually just turn up at. Pricing is very similar these days as mentioned (and just price protection claim anyway or they can match it). Better to buy local when you can and quicker.

  • I haven't touched a non-engined bike since I was like 19.

    Just over a decade ago..

    This will be interesting..

    P.S. Thanks O.P.

  • I used the road version of these for a few years. Very light and stiff soled, they're great.

  • Hi. Do those cleats come with the shoe ? Thanks

    • They never do mate, so have to get some compatible MTB cleats too (like Shimano SPD cleats and pedals).

      • Thanks mate šŸ‘šŸ¼
