Does it work with existing account?

    • the Revolut card payment(s) must be made within 30 days of opening your new Revolut account.

    • +1

      No. New customer only.

      • Don't they have other offer where referer and referee both gets $100. I do get such emails

It’s random these days. I got $120 last month, but $100 now. It’s one sided though, unless u know the friend/can agree beforehand, hard to split the bonus. This one, at least, u get it directly

Wait until something wrong happens and you can't access your account and funds for years. I am not able to log in into their app for years and every contact to them was useless. I got trapped myself with a sign in bonus years ago. Was is worth it? Definitely no!

I only use Revolut as an intermediary for foreign purchases. Never will have more than $500 on the account for this reason.
TLDR: Dont use Revolut for savings

They lock your account with no explanation and absolute zero support. Wouldn’t trust them with more than $20 of my money.

    • Same happened to me. The customer service is a dead-end. Couldn't order flowers for my fiancee's funeral. (Yeah, that's her photo) I used Worldremit and it worked perfectly.
I've never been so disgusted with any company in my entire life.

      • Sorry to read that. I hope you are all right.

  • Is there any advantage to use another country to.sign up? Like say India so you'll have a local credit card to sign up to stuff?

  • so what's a good alternative to revolut? I dont wanna have my account locked with no explanation :(

Wise is good. Just Have them but don't keep lot of money in them. I like Revolut for disposable cards. And wise for transfer and spending overseas

      • interested to learn why you prefer wise for spending overseas and transfer

        • +1

While travelling to spend in local currency

Up is fantastic, integrated with transfer wise as well for international payments

Agreed with this, their rate probably not as good (Up is using Wise but with delayed rates, so I assume they take a bigger buffer/spread), but for small amount like a couple of hundreds, the differences become negligible and worth the convenience trade-off (Up is just easier to use than Wise for me). If ur spending big, like in the thousands, probably better off with Wise directly

  • Some interesting discussion here

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/601805

  • Heads up, I work in banking and revolut is dodgy as (profanity). Infamous in my department for basically existing as a sanctions evasion service for Russia, and the source of many complaints. Wouldn’t put much money in those accounts, no fraud protection. Frankly, I’d put no money in those accounts. Wouldn’t want them having my KYC information either.

    • Wanted to sign into a second phone and it tried getting me to re-verify facial… overkill

  • +3

I mostly use revolut just for the disposable cards

    • Do you have the disposable card feature on the free plan as well?

      • yes the free plan has it

  • Read this article before you give them your money.

  • Thanks
Easy process bonus appeared within 2 days of spend.

  • Has anybody received this bonus without a valid Unidays account?
