I have these, awesome headphones but the best use for them other than gaming is whilst doing chores around the house :D I got mine for $119 shipped from logitech shop so this is about as cheap as you will get. Cant remember if you need a specific adapter or there is another (pricier) headset that looks the same that will work on a PS3.
CarbonTwelve on 04/08/2012 - 05:58 ¶Yeah, I have these too, and I agree about the chores around the house thing :) However mine have had problems and now even the slightest bump (even from just moving around) can cause the headphones to turn off. Very frustrating to the point where I can't use them for gaming or anything any more.

Also have these (also from LGS :p) and love them too. Mine sometimes have issues connecting for some reason, but a bit of fiddling around gets them going and it's all good.
For the PS3 there is the more expensive F540 that Logitech sell which is basically the same as the G930. If you were using them exclusively with consoles though I'd recommend a different set as the F540 will only offer stereo sound whereas select alternate models have optical inputs for consoles that allow them to use proper 5.1/7.1 surround.
shadowblader9 on 04/08/2012 - 02:24 ¶No, logitech does not offer international warranty. my G930 broke about 3 weeks ago and i had to contact logitech-US to have it replaced. Good thing was that they replaced it right away, but you will need to use a mail forwarding service as logitech only offer domestic shipping.

They did ask me to send it over to the States but I just told them the RMA process will take too long and I'm better off buying another product. In the end they decided to just send me a replacement without taking the broken pair back.
samfisher5986 on 04/08/2012 - 02:11 ¶There are known things that can go wrong with these headphones like many products.
Make sure you think about this before purchase.

Purchased these about a year ago for $120, damn. Word of caution, IF the PC you're on is around any wireless devices (Home phone, Wireless modem, some people say microwaves as well, etc..) I don't recommend you get these, they tend to disconnect every 5 minutes and drop out for 10 seconds at a time, it really gets annoying, there were various software patches to "fix" this from Logitech, but non of them report to actually do anything.
If not, these are pretty sturdy one size fits all headsets, decent quality, decent mic, programmable buttons on the side you stop using after the first week, but still pretty neat.
Damn, if these worked with out any mucking around for the Xbox or PS3 I'd have jumped on them.
The link in case anyone cares of how people got them working on consoles.

Comes out to around $100 shipped for me, considering these are $160 on staticice, I find that a good price.
Should be noted that the are the WIRELESS equivalents of the Logitech G30. I have this headset for around 2 years and I had the G30 for around 1 year before that. The biggest issue with these is the plastic they are made from. It is a 'hard' plastic ans as such, I've had a few snaps. Looking up other reviews, it seems there are a few common 'snap sites' - eg the mic, left/right ear piece etc. These are USB devices - you cannot use for Xbox 360 and I daresay not for the PS3 either. If you want one for those you are looking at the Logitech F540: the same 'model' as these but designed to connect with consoles for a tad bit extra in price.
ownage input on 04/08/2012 - 13:27 ¶I have the G35's and if these ones are anything like the G35 they are crap! If you want a 7.1 wireless headset for console gaming i recommend Turtle Beach headsets, I have the Turtle Beach PX5's for my PC and XP500's for xbox360, PS3, HTPC etc and they are great in terms of quality and sound… Much better off going with the Razer carcharias if you can deal with the wires, they may not be 7.1 but the sound quality and over build quality trumps the G series headsets.
Btw the ear cups are prone to snapping off these.

ownage input on 04/08/2012 - 17:26 ¶Yes…Yes i am actually, just remember we are talking gaming headsets here! you can't get much better than the turtle beach XP500's for CONSOLE gaming, these sound beter then the Astro ax40's + it has the customizable presets + true wireless chat for XBOX360 without the need for the mic wire from the headset to the controller + the ability to sync it with any bluetooth audio device iphone etc…
If i had to pick a headset for PC gaming i would go the Razer Tiamat, but for now the PX5's will do.

Might be worthwhile to add 'headphones' in the title.
