$1100 for a 4070ti not bad also
This is a good price, its getting close to what the 3080 costed (~$1200)
This would be a good buy at around 1250 considering inflation. But again, if you remember, 3080 was a lot closer to 3090 in performance. This is what a 4070Ti should have been. Not the 4080.
But if they made this the 4070 ti then how else were they supposed to retain the same profit margins as during the crypto boom??
You are talking against nvidia and upvoting this deal too? ;)
@[Deactivated]: a deal is a deal I guess lol
It beats the 3080 by 50+%, has a 6gb increase in vram, and is more efficient. The 4080 is exactly where it should be in the product stack, if it launched for $1200ish we would have seen nothing but universal praise.
4070ti is a nice slim, efficient card - this is a large piece of turd, I would wait for something new gen and slimmed down
Larger cards run cooler. Unless you are building ITX, not sure how that matters.
Pretty sure the 4080 is more efficient in terms of performance per watt than the 4070 Ti.
YAY! happy sub $1500 price for rtx 4080!
Name checks out,
Looks like lowest price ever so far. As @TsundereGuy said, we're getting there.
do you get Diablo 4 with this?
Offer valid only through authorized ETAIL and Retail partners.

Check with CA if they're included.
I took a look on the CA website and it looks like D4 does come with it as seen here.
oooh theyve breached the 1400s now. I would probably get this if it weren't too long for my case
Thanks grabbed two
Good price
The prices have not moved on the 4080, it's a one of ebay sale. Relax ppl lol.
is this a good price for 4080?
Based on used pricing its horrible value, but comparing to new prices its pretty decent. $1499 for either RTX 4080 or 7900 XTX is 'reasonable', but if you can wait or buy used then that would be better
Where you finding these cheap used 4080s? Cheapest used 4080 I can find is $1475.
No I'm talking about older generation, but I guess if you're specifically after that level of performance then used isn't an option haha
nvidia just dropped their price recently -
HODL - If I was buying I'd take the 7900XTX 24GB posted earlier today.
Good price. Not sure about this specific model but $1499 for a 4080 is a much better buy than a 7900XTX.
What sort of PSU does this require? I have a 750W one, would that be enough?
750w should be alright if you dont have a really power hungry cpu like a 13900ks or 8 hdds or something.
thank you. Ended up buying the Gigabyte 4070 instead :)
how much power do you need if you get the 13xxx K cpu as well?
A 13600K is about 180w multicore so I'd personally not trust 750w with that and GPU power spikes from a 320w GPU
CPU power draw in games is a lot lower than 180w so it's probably fine, I just wouldn't.13700k and 13900k are about 250w and the 13900ks is 350w+ so i'd definitely go to 850w or 1000w for those.
Allegedly if you have an ATX 3.0 PSU they have better tolerance for GPU power spikes so you might be able to get away with more on them, i'm not convinced though.I'm probably a little paranoid
@Lief: I think you're paranoid. Aren't the TDP figures provided the maximum already? I'm not sure there is such a thing as power spikes above those numbers, at least not by a significant amount.
I reckon PSU requirements are generally overstated a bit.
@808State: I looked it up and Techpowerup saw it spike up to 371w in furmark for what it's worth
It seems the higher end cards have more extreme spikes.
Or the just reviewer got lucky/unlucky with those and saw the biggest possible spikes on them and not the other cards.
But I guess if it's under 400w 750w should be okay for a 13600k as long as you dont have too much else going on in your computer.
Great deal i just got mine last week at $1650
Dont forget $20 cashback via SB
Coupon probably makes it invalid for SB?
no, PWE22 is valid for CB
understood that Gigabyte's Eagle series has cooling issue?
someone mentioned that then i asked for a link and can't find anything
Bummer, went to buy and OOS
Same. Really want it for photoshops new denoise as it takes 10 mins per photo atm among gaming to
Starting to get to a respectable price. If it comes down to $1300 ill buy. Otherwise ill keep waiting and see what the 4080ti aftee thats been out for awhile lol
With the price decline of these graphic cards, I was thinking I could learn and build my own PC with an RTX 4080. I have never done this before. What would be a good place to learn how to build a PC (with regards to finding compatible parts as they go on sale and are listed on OZBargain)?
Linus tech tips Youtube channel (and their forums) would have quite a few resources on how to build a PC.
Heres the most recent video, Grab some popcorn because it's almost 2 hours long. It covers everything from choosing parts to assembling the pc.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BL4DCEp7blYand their previous one, which is a First Person view video on how to assemble.

I bought one of these yesterday and received it today.
The diablo code thing is pretty all over the place. Went to gigabyte site, filled in form, get a confirmation email and it says you'll hear back within 10 days. No record of it on my gigabyte profile page either.
I bought one, but have serious coil whine issues at 4K gaming
Here is why you should avoud buying gigabyte products : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wb5tlHJHVBs
ATL? Slowly but surely we're getting there..
