    You can laugh but my wife works for a large government dept with an uber expensive commercial surveillance system . Despite weekly incidents of car theft/vandalism , the footage has never once been good enough for a conviction .
    I'd love to post the footage of the scumbag at my local club carpark that led to his arrest and conviction but apparently it's illegal . Cops added it to his other 20+ charges .

    They seem to have a few models cheaper than I've seen them before .
    Amazon/ebay/Annke . Definitely worth shopping around .

  Decent cameras, they are Hikvision under the covers just with Firmware that isn't updated.

      I would like to know this too. Things like inbuilt AI detection requires firmware update from time to time for improvements as well as bug fixes as well as App updates.

      I have learnt that the camera is pretty useless without firmware updates when it comes to bugs or enhancements unless you plan to do everything via the NVR.

      With people saying that there is little or no support from Annke, I am reluctant to go near Annke even though I am tech savvy.

  Do you use an Annke App or can you use the Hikvision App?

  I was wondering whether it's better to spend the extra and maybe try the Hilook range.
