DDPAI is currently slashing their price and also giving some extra discount based on your purchase. Not sure when it started and will ended though. If you check youtube, their dashcams seem ok and comparable to 70mai.

The latest model is Z50 with 4k display with the parking package dropped from US$ 375.99 to US$ 151.98. Apply coupon code D15 for US$136.98 delivered. However, if you tried to buy another one after your first purchase the price becomes US$ 222.98 :)

The delivery is free and upon chat with the sales they said any other fees will be covered by them.

There's a referral as well but as not permitted in here so I can't put it.

  • Price in title!

    • Done but price varies based on items.

      • All good, just give people an example or minimum/maximum

  • Any deal?

    • Looks like a big price drop. Whether or not it is or ever was worth 151.98USD is another question.

      • If you add their additional discount then it becomes $136.98

    • Discount from 30% to 50% depends on which item. I just bought the Z50 and will see the result. A friend use Mola N3 and very nice which made me checked their items and compared to 70mai

  • is it good for aussie weather

    • +1

I hope so :D It's using super capacitor instead of lithium battery and the specs said : the dashcam could record securely even in survive extreme weather conditions from -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C).

  • Where are all those Starvis 2 dash cams :-( Need them in the cheaper cameras…

  • Why get this over a Viofo?

    • Cause with more or less the same spec the price of Viofo is more expensive? Unless they also slash their price then it will be interesting.

Do people have their Dashcam set to record one continuous file, or in multiple shorter files?

    • +3

By default most dashcams do shorter files, so your footage can be easily exported by copying just the couple of minutes where the incident took place.

If you saved or exported a large 60 minute long video file for example, you'll still need to scrub through the video to pinpoint the exact moment an accident happened, and then possibly have to use video editing software to trim it down to a manageable length for sharing to someone else.

The dashcam also lets you lock files that you think contain interesting events, to prevent them from being deleted. If you have lots of locked files that are individually very large you'll run out of storage sooner.

  • Now, dude.
