4 years of lurking on this website and your first comment is…this?

  • Dang. Anyway to cancel Jimkidd order? Just placed the order yesterday. It is yet to ship!

    I prefer this color

    • Were the triple blacks cheaper too or only these ones? Paid 120$ from rebel.

Would normally black and white too, but all black fine. Have black and white Pegasus anyway.

      • triple blacks at JimKidd were $119+$10 shipping, so way more expensive than the $80 deal here , JimKidd were kind enough to cancel my order and refund as it was yet to be shipped

        • Wouldn't say heaps, but some people want the absolute rock bottom price and chasing every dollar.

15$ difference for me as I got priced matched and picked up on the spot at Rebel.

Anyway good it hadn't been shipped, postage should have been free you'd think.

Went through the new-user referral and got this when trying to apply the $20 off code to the sale item:
Your code has not been applied as no items were eligible. Please note items can only have one discount applied.

Has anyone else had it stack?

    • I didn't actually use a referral code, I just signed up with a new email address (a pop-up offer when I was looking at the site) & it happily let me use it on top of the automatically applied 30% discount and kept free shipping even though it brought it under $100. So maybe the referral codes have different rules re stacking I'm not sure.
Anyone else here had issues with the $20 codes?

      • Ah thanks for that. Worked fine with HEYICONIC20, just not with the referral code. Cheers!

  • Thanks Op ordered one, was tempted with the previous sale of $149, glad I waited and grabbed this one

  • express shipping options?

Please use the code generator just under the deal post guys, don't offer codes as it undermines the whole OzB process which ensures everyone shares the benefit from referrals over time. Thanks guys :)

'HEYICONIC20' code also works if it's your first order

  • Are these for longer runs? And are they worth it if you have Pegasus'?

    • +1

I tried these on in a store along with the new pegasus 40. They were fine shoes but really did not feel comfortable or interesting. The little cushioning would also probably make it less than ideal for long runs. Honestly, they also looked cheap, can't remember if it was because of the fly knit material but that's the impression i got.

      • I own both of them for jogging prefer the pegasus better grip support lock downs ect infinity’s are still good though work horse with wings wins.

      • I have both as well (only just got the black Infinity so no proper runs yet).

They are both good but different. The Pegasus are a good all rounder (plenty of cusioning, stability & comfort) nothing wrong with them or super exciting but no brainer for $80-100. I like the Infinty as well, kind of have a rocking feeling that push you forward to make you want to run. Seem like less forefoot cushion, also good for $100-120. Of course they are both good for walking (not just longer km as many reviews say for the Infinity).

Either and both are fine (105$ for the infinity would have been a steal).

One time I don’t check this app for a day and I fkn missed out on this!! 😓😓😓

  • How would these shoes be for daily walking?

    • Like walking on clouds

    • That's what they are best for, I consider them Nike's version of ultraboost & are very comfortable for daily wear but tbh I think the knitted upper wouldn't last a long time if you were doing a lot of miles although they would be very comfortable short term.
Personally I run in Pegasus 39s & Kayano as they seem to hold up longer, very subjective though.

I reckon my big toe(s) would burst through the flyknit material within 3-6 months. It's the first part of a show that breaks for me, every single damn time!

    Thanks for the deal OP.

Just got mine delivered. I quite like the quality (for a $85 shoes - not for a $230 rrp shoe). However, I am always underwhelmed by Nike Sizing and this is case this time too. I generally wear US 9 - EU42.5. Have old Air Max as Size 9 US which are a larger fit. I heard these are a bit snug so ordered US 9.5/EU 43. First wear and these are tight AF (in Winter too, in summer my foot will expand further). Never had these issues with Adidas, Brooks, UA and NB and Size 9 has fit me consistently.

The main issue is not the length but rather the pointy forefoot shape. I hope that my toe would not pierce through Flyknit and the Flyknit stretches a bit eventually as I quite like the look. More of a casual/dad fashion shoe than a serious running shoe (like my Brooks Adrenaline).

    • I dunno, I'm a Nike 9 in Peguasus and a 9 in these is fine. Actually I find them quite nice and wide compared to most Nike which are reportedly narrow.

It's probably worth trying the next half size or something on in a store, surely The Iconic does free exchanges (I think) within 30 days.
Also depends what socks, thick running socks or those thin hidden socks if just walking around casually. Good if not too snug though but would give a bit you'd expect and lace less tight.

      • I’m a 10 US, including other Nike’s, so ordered size 10 and mine are too snug, should have gone half a size or a whole size up.

Do iconic do exchanges for the same product usually for incorrect sizing at no extra charge? They don’t seem to have anymore stock, so how likely would it be that they get more in in a larger size anyway?

Or is my best bet just to return them?

        • Dunno maybe email them, could be more stock or similar products

      • I agree that these are wider than most Nike Shoes. If you are using the same size as Pegasus then it should fit well as Pegasus are similar construct and are even narrower.

I did use thin ankle socks and they are visible between the tongue and the outer construct. Hoping it stretches like Adidas Primeknit overtime.

I will keep them for casual wear though as returns would mean getting a refund and going through hoops. Won’t be running in these though. I will try not to buy Nike shoes online though as it is always a gamble.

        • Just have to try on somewhere before ordering, and most of the time rebel would just pricematch anyway
