$2000 Home Loan Refinance Cashback (Minimum Loan $250,000 and LVR up to 80%) @ ANZ

60

Hello OzBargainers,

Hope you're all doing well.

ANZ has extended their cashback offer, now offering $2K cashback if you refinance your home loan or investment loan of at least $250K, where the loan is no more than 80% of the property value (free upfront valuation available).

Available as an ongoing offer until further notice.

From the ANZ website:

  • Refinance your eligible home loan of $250,000+ and 80% or less LVR to ANZ and you could get up to $2,000 cash to spend on whatever you like. If you're thinking of refinancing a home loan, now's the time to switch to ANZ.
  • Get discounted rates upfront on eligible loans.
  • $0 set up or ongoing fees.
  • Verify your ID and sign documents online for super simple home loan refinancing.
  • Offer can be withdrawn at any time. Limit of one cashback within any 12 month period. Offer is $2,000 cashback with 80.00% LVR or less, loans with LVR above 80% are not eligible for cashback. Paid within 60 days to an eligible ANZ account. You must drawdown the Eligible ANZ Home Loan(s) within 120 days from applying. See the full Terms and Conditions (PDF) for this offer. Fees, charges, eligibility criteria apply.

Still quick turnaround at the moment, and we're often getting negotiated interest rates cheaper than the website.
Some recent negotiated variable rates from 5.84% (CR 5.84%) for owner occupied loans, 6.09% (CR 6.09%) for investment loans (updated 11/10/2023).

Don't like ANZ? Some other refinance cashback offers still available (not for much longer):

  • Bank of China: $4288 refinance cashback
  • St.George/Bank of Melbourne/BankSA: $2000 refinance cashback
  • Bank of Queensland: $3000 refinance cashback
  • ME Bank: $2000-$4000 refinance cashback per property

Hope to help you save some money!!

Kind regards,

    Down from $4000

    • Worth a neg?

      • Not from me. I'm just pointing it out.

        $2000 is still $2000

      from $6000 year ago

  • Discharge fees will eat away a good chunk of the cashback. Plenty of banks with substantially lower interest rates (Qudos Bank and CBA's Unloan for example). Not to mention ANZ's product and service are regarded as being below par.

The only person that would benefit from this deal would be the mortgage broker writing the loan 😬

    • What's CBA's deal?

If you refinance to ANZ they usually cover the fees on their end so mostly you only have to pay fees on incumbent lender, so it can be only tittle search and registration only, but still will be at least around $400.

tictoc is 5.69% with $10/month for offset for those who need offset option

I reckon this is mainly a deal for Bank of China. But if OP started with that he will get plenty of comments about CCP, dictatorship, don't do business with coloured people, stick to the big 4 (USA majority owned by the way) banks, your loan will get stolen (however that may happen, I'd love someone to steal my debt).
But yeah, down from $4000. 😠

Switched to ANZ with the $4K cashback

I liked that they don't have your typical $395 annual package fee rather a $10p/m for offset so $120 a year

  • Ubank(Nab) still giving 4k

    • When… Do you have any details please?

      • +1

This ubank Cashback Offer is available only for new home loan or re-finance applications received between 1st March 2023 and 30 April 2023 (inclusive) and settled by 30 June 2023

    @Katz77, @tomclancy.
Thanks for all the other options guys! I'll check them out. Have a complicated loan structure and will see if it works out. Unfortunately for Westpac their service is lacking, for lack of service I may as well find a no frills option. Less (or no) commission for the broker though.

  • What are the current cashback offers for refinancing??

    • +1

      ANZ still has $2k cashback!
Also ME Bank up to $3k, and Bank of China $4k :)

    • Greater Bank has $3k cashback and low rates.
