Thanks, bought one for each of my pools. Cost me $0!

  • What happened to the 'Pro' and what's the difference between it and the 'Pro Lite'?

    • the difference between those 2 model are the Charging Time.

      Seagull Pro-1.5h; Seagull Pro Lite-3.5h

Yeh they are changing the goalposts all the time. My mate ordered pro and got the pro lite. They offered partial refund. His pro lite doesnt do the walls at all.

  • These are also being sold on Amazon for the same price when applying the $100 coupon.

  • How easy is it to get replacement parts like the filter basket and replacement batteries?

    • Just need contact the customer service to apply the replacement

      • How much for a new filter basket and can you include an extra one as a bonus?

  • Do you have an Australian address and how does warranty work?

    • we have the local warranty warehouse to do the warranty work on Australian

  • Have they worked out how to map a (profanity) rectangle yet? Every robo-cleaner seems to be just a dumb RC car from 1995. Bump, oops better turn, bump, oops better turn. I just want to put my cleaner in the pool, the one with the 4 easy to map edges and go over every inch of it in some methodical way.

    • Seagull Pro& Seagull Pro lite both have the WavePath™ Navigation Technology Equipped with industry- leading path planning technology, ensures complete coverage and an amazing clean for your pool’s floor, walls, and waterline.

  • I shall be keeping an eye on these.. no cordless unit had enough power under water when I bought my Dolphin.. lots of reviews most seem paid though.. but interesting to see as the battery tech evolves ..mapping software for a pool is useless since debris get displaced by the water as the unit moves so it has to run till it cleans up.. whats more useful is a software that can detect the visible debris and keep going till it detects none..I am sure that will be coming in the near future till then Dolphin works well

    • Yeah, does seem to be minimal 'genuine' reviews around for these. The Amazon reviews are all US mostly and seem to be for the non lite model.

  • What's the filter like? That is, is it small enough to pick up sands?

  • i think i would prefer a corded version , easier to pull out of the pool and never have to deal with replacing a dead or dying battery

This appears to be the “normal” priced advertised as a “sale” - spammed all over Facebook ads. Maybe $20 cheaper at most. And lots of people commenting about a recall and break downs with no response from the company on those posts yet they seem to respond to all other comments trying to get a sale. Sceptical about the quality.

Friend just bought the "pro version" of this and received the "pro lite"….website keeps changing. Pro lite version wasnt on there a few days ago. Also they are changing the specs about runtime and charge time daily… looks like scam
