Probably good enough for 90% of people who just use the phone for Facebook and looking at ozbargain

      please explain?
the sd695g is by no means slow

      • +2

It's barely faster than the nearly 5 year old Snapdragon 845 and can't record 4k video. It's a passable CPU but not great

      • +2

        It's slow for $500.

  • The new Motorola G84 should be here soon and will be $500 max

      $500 australian ?

    a 2021 CPU for $500, wow

No one should be buying any phone over $250.

Maybe link one that's good for under $250. I'm looking to get one today

Ahh ok. I just looked at your username so not taking advice from you on smart phones either :P

User name is TrollBender who bends trolls like you brutally and w/o mercy.

        • Well I've got my 5-a-day sorted!

    • Tim apple said to hold his beer.

    • I'm torn between not feeding the troll and agreeing because my cheap Motorola's have been awesome.

Feed yourself by torn, turning, rolling or tumbling who cares. TrollBender bends trolls like you. Good luck with your Rotor.

$899 RRP for this phone. Tell them they are dreaming.
    HMD have lost the plot.

  • Rumours about the successor, Nokia X40, are starting to surface. The Nokia X30 was announced on 1st September 2022 and launched on 21st September 2023.

The main reason for buying this is the stock Android UI and reasonably fast updates. The August 2023 service pack was released on 22nd of August.

    • Lol Nokia is just about dead. HMD announced they're going to make phones under their own brand soon. Also that there hasn't been a midrange Nokia phone released for over a year now, only the cheap cheap phones.

      • Nokia mobiles definitely don't have the mind share of other brands, but I cannot find another company that offers stock Android, except for Google. Motorola is probably the next closest.

        • +1

Well you'd get the updates I'm sure they'd see that out. But as for a new mobile after the Nokia name is gone, like you say it's Motorola that's the closet. Sony too but they're only playing in the high end.

        • Nokia moto Sony

    thanks. bought one

    • How’s it going with your nokia phone

  • Is this eSIM compatible?

JB hifi website specs say Dual sim (nano + nano)

Internet search suggests eSIM but that might be for only international versions?
