Budget Rugged Phone

Looking for a rugged phone for my kid and came across Aspera 10, but couldnt find any reviews at all.

Anyone can help?

    Yeah I agree with Gdsamp, life is hard enough or kids today, just get them an iPhone with the chunkiest Otterbox you can find, with a glass screen protector. Don't inflict Android on your spawn.

      OP - specifically asked for a "budget phone" in thread title.

      With my nieces … both aged 16 … my sister bought them both budget Andriod phones ($350'ish each).
      But then … VIC high schools == really restricting mobile phone use in school time … so in some ways, it's a moot point.

    I've had the Aspera R40 for a year or so now. Basic phone but does what I require of it. I'll probably get the Aspera R10 shortly. Has the latest Android software. Waterproof and dustproof. Shockproof too I think. Not bad value.
