    Most effective when partially inflated.

  • Wilson 'the duke' official is also on special. Anyone know much about the differences?

  • College size footballs are easier for us meer mortals

    Leather vs synthetic.
The duke you will have to weather a bit to feel nice (will leak colour and not be as tacky as the composite to start with)
However leather will outlast synthetic every day and much harder to damage.
But if you are throwing with pace to mates who can't catch, their more likely to get a finger jam/hurt themselves with the leather as well

so which one to buy the wilson or spalding or the 89.95 wilson?

      • +1

If your throwing about in your back yard with a few friends (back and forth) just get a synthetic Wilson - will be more than enough and you probably will find it easier to throw.
If your friends are running routes/played before or your tempted to play in the future treat yourself to a leather one.

  • Is gridiron even a thing in OZ ?

      Played in most states

    • Yup and we export a few players to play in the NFL; often old AFL players that become kickers.

SBS is showing games on Monday morning. One of the current players is called “Sample”. Every time I look at his name on his jersey it makes me laugh.
