Do you need a machine to use them? or can you just open the capsules and drink it?

Our capsules are only compatible with Nespresso®* coffee machines. Please note that Nespresso® is the trade mark of a third party not related to D.E Coffee & Tea Australia Pty Ltd. Hope this helps!

Had to hunt around on their Facebook page for the details, absolutely nothing detailed on their main page…. der!

ah thanks. guess I wont be redeeming any since I dont have a machine.

        Damm I wanted free stuff!

Have you got a coffee plunger?

Each 'pod' is about 5g of ground coffee in a sealed plastic container with tiny pin size holes for the water to pass through. Each is good enough for 1 cup.

There is no lid to easily get the coffee out but you can cut it open if you really want that caffeine hit…

Love how they are available in Coles and Woolies.

Have been using them since they first came out last month…they are on par with Nespresso IMO.

    Thanks.

I tried this when they were on special at Coles. I think now selling @ $5.90/ ten capsuls. Packaging wise, it is poor quality compared to Nepresso. My machine (Lattisssima Premium) was struggling to extract the coffee. Taste is a subjective matter, but I prefer Nepresso. On price, it's that that cheap (most Nepresso's capsuls are 68 cents each)

    •

yeah but these ones are free so that's even cheaper than 68cents atleast for this bargain ;D

  •

What's the deal with having to allow them to 'Post on your behalf' on facebook?
I don't see why I would allow them to do that?..

    •

You'd only allow it if you wanted to virally market the offer to your fb friends

Does this work for another machines at all? Or they trying to lure u to buy only nestle cafe units?

    •

No, and no they're not, they are cashing in on the fact that Nespresso's patent on these style of pods expires this year (or already has?), which is absolutely a good thing. I'd imagine that many other companies may also be releasing their coffee in Nespresso size pods too, as so many people have the machines.
Better ditch the el cheapo Aldi rip-off bud and get with the times, eh?

Original Nespresso taste better, but this is free so nothing to lose to get them, but my preference is still original Nespresso.

    •

I've heard the same.. but I'll have to try them for myself.

  •

Has anyone received their free pods yet? Or is this deal not for real?

  •

had got them in the mail today. First totally free offer that i actually ended up getting from oz-bargain that didn't involve a download. Gonna try them out at my workplace Nesspresso coffee machine tomorrow. Came in a nifty black envelope with packaging similar to mc-chicken bites.

Wow each capsule is individually wrapped in presentable packaging.

Yeah, I really don't like that - and the fact that the capsules themselves are made of plastic. Seems really wasteful (well, even more wasteful than usual).

  •

    Thanks. I've received mine too.

  •

Got it today as well. Had it without the machine and just used drip brewing which tasted surprisingly good :D
