These are pretty low quality setups, fine for $30 but not great

Which one is good for a beginner?

I bought one 7.75" for my 8 yo nephew and an 8" for myself to help teach him (haven't skated in 20 years) during black friday. I have US11 shoe size and would probably go with a slighty larger board for myself but it's good for purpose. Any of them will be good for beginner. I replaced the bearing in both with bones reds and minilogo respectively (they are made in same factory) but you probably don't need to. May need to adjust the truck nut for your tightness preference, and the wheel nuts were under/over tightened on a few wheels so it's an easy fix if you have the tools in your shed and don't want to buy a skate tool. Definitely good entry level over something from kmart or similar.

edit: the globe deal is probably better though

Get a globe kit, have better trucks and wheels, meh bearings.

If it's for crusing get a "cruiserboard", they're longer and have bigger softer wheels.

If it's for shredding the street and parks get one of the symmertical completes.

The glove longboards are a steal at this price and really only need some bones reds

      • Yep agreed, I didn't see the globe deal before replying here.

  • Combine with the TCN gift cards people have stashed :)

  • TCN gift cards do not work online at SDS.
