My favourite workout app is Uber Eats.

Forces me to walk to the front door, 3 reps per day

Please suggest gym / workout management app iPhone

    I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that

  • This thread might be helpful, few suggestions.

Otherwise, pen and small notebook does the trick.

  • Been using Strong on Android for years.

Has all the features I'd ever need.

  • Are you wanting to track how many reps/sets you’re doing, or, are you looking for workout recommendations?

  • i just base my workouts around the deadlifts, squats, chest press (dumb bell or barbell whatever), pull and chinups, and dips.

  • been using Stronglifts 5x5 - pretty good. Base version doesn't allow customization but got a hacked apk on android

I’ve been using FitNotes to record all my workouts, reps and weights. Once you get the hang of it pretty easy I have a workout set for each day of the week - chest, biceps, triceps and shoulders, legs and back. Each workout has the 3 or 4 sets I do for each and at the start of your workout you just pick your workout, click start and as you do the reps for each set and you tick them off as you go, update weights or reps if increasing/decreasing, and when workout done click finish workout, it records logs which can be exported to share with other gym bros if that’s what your into.

But you have to know what your doing to use it, it does not tell you how to do any workout or recommend a workout routine etc, you should have this info. It’s more to track so you are always increasing weights as you grow if that’s what you’re looking for.

    • I haven't followed apps for a while… so unsure of what is being used nowadays, but this is what I've been using for a long time. It's incredibly well built

      • Yeah same, it took me ages to just find an app that did exactly what I needed which was record reps and weights so I didn’t have to use excel sheets. Works perfect for that, it’s free and never done me wrong. Highly recommend this compared to all the other crap paid/bloatware apps on the App Store.

  • I used to use Full Fitness: Workout Trainer. It has a list of lifts/exercises with pictures and videos and would allow you to record reps and sets, and would create graphs based on your workout.

  • Nike Training Club

  • Gymshark app is actually very decent and free.

    Fitnotes for recording reps etc
