bought one from last deal, not useful in my opinion.

^ what he said. I'll give you a '+' for the deal, but yeah, these things are sh!t. Got one as a gift and threw it out 2 weeks later.

Maybe you need some boxing lessons then

What do you find has made them less useful than you expected?

        • Now I'm not a psychopath or anything, yet I don't understand why anyone would just get 'sick' of practicing their punches.

I still remember sticking a 2x4 plank 3 feet into the ground and practicing jabs on the wood; I'd say this would be quite a handy piece of equipment.

        • I still remember sticking a 2x4 plank 3 feet into the ground and practicing jabs on the wood…

We'd better register you as a lethal weapon! :p

    • Got one from the last deal too. Set it up and my 5-foot, 45 kilo daughter started punching the ball. After 10 minutes, she said the ball was losing air. Sure enough, it developed a leak.

On the positive side, I didn't have any problems getting a refund.

      • Wow your daughter has sharp knuckles. :)

  • I posted the deal last time, it just sits in my garage now lol

Great just what someone needs to vent COTD frustration!

    • Just clicked it to say that. :D

Tempted. But these usually become clothes hangers after the novelty has worn off, so I'll pass.

    • I agree, but that's more because people are lazy/get bored than the product sucks

  • What they should do is make one where you can insert a picture of your boss, whoever, on the ball. :)

    • Just print on A4 anything you hate, stick on & go crazy!

This issue has been raised by others in previous incarnations of this deal, however it warrants reiteration:

    Adjustable height: 126 – 146 cm

Unless you're talking about taking on small children or midg…er I mean little people, this device is of fairly dubious benefit IMHO.

    • because we live in a world where we are constantly under threat and need our fists ready at a moments notice :-)

      • I have two words for you my friend…Zombie Apocalypse!!! ;)

    • True.. It's more for teenagers.

Having watched Game of Thrones and understanding the sinister threat of Tyrion the Dwarf, I think this (height challenged) training aid might be useful.

    • Wha? But Tyrion is awesome!

my kids use it to try and hit each other when they're walking past it and the other one is following close behind.
or pull it over until it's nearly parallel to the ground, wait until the other walks past and then let go.

dunno where they get it all from…
