    • I've been with them for about 12mths. Organised the free FTTP installation, always sits at the 100mb, i don't experience drop outs at all. I'd recommend them.

    • +2

Have been using them since 2022, moving to Spintel end of this billing period/week!

They were good when started, now too many customers because of cheap CBA plans I think.. Of late occasional dropouts and mainly speed drops to around 80-90mbps after a while, but goes back up to 250-260 on rebooting nbn box (not wifi router) or establishing a new session (one of their debugging step is to connect laptop directly to nbn box with PPPoE). I am on the 250/25 plan on FTTP!! Going back and forth with tech support since December, no more patience!

Speed now - 81.09/13.49 (LAN, not WiFi)
      Ping - 4/12/4

They say it is a problem with my wifi router (ubiquity AmpliFi Mesh with eth backhaul, so less likely) or wall connection, not really convinced! I think they are purposefully doing it to save bandwidth and support more customers - bandwidth throttling!

If anyone has any suggestions most welcome :-)

      • +3

You're describing exactly the same problem that I had with MORE!!! It's super frustrating and I suspect they will gaslight us to think it's the router's fault!
I left and went with Superloop with the same exact router setup etc and it no longer drops from 250 to about 80-90mbps….

    • Good initially and then speed was more than halved, poor customer service…

    • +1

I switched a couple months ago for several reasons:

      1. 3 months free + 30-40% off
      2. "Sticky IP" which is akin to a DHCP reservation, I have one IP which means I don't need DDNS
      3. They offer 100/40 which is fantastic for my self-hosted stuff

I consistently get speeds of 105/38 with around 10 ping, no dropouts or speed drops thus far.
They're on the Vocus Network if that means anything to you.

Haven't had to deal with support at all yet.

I've set up a script to do a speedtest every hour so we will see!

  • +2

More is the most confusing provider….they should really shut it down and work on tangerine rather than splitting their services. Average.

  • Do you need to keep renewing yello membership every month to get this offer? Or can I just use the code and claim for first month and add the commbank debit card for monthly payment?
I don’t use this account often

    • Good question. Can anyone answer this? I would assume you have to be eligible for yello to get the discount for that month.

  • +7

I was with them but moved to Exetel. I found that they were gradually throttling the speed until it becomes unbearable and you end up complaining. Before you get call from support, the speed is restored. The support tech gets you to do a speed test to record good speed as per plan to close the ticket only to be throttled again after roughly a week or so.

  • I feel like Leaptels pricing is better and doesn't limit what card you pay from.

    • +1

what i don't like about leaptel though is that they're full reliant on GSL upstream and don't have multiple upstream providers.

      • I've used ABB & Leaptel at multiple addresses, I would rate GSL no lower than any provider I've churned.

      • Yeah agreed, not a huge fan of leaptel.

  • +2

Not again for me. Signed up last time to the 50/20 Mbps plan and More bumped their prices after the first two months from $53.90 to $61.40. Didn't sit well.

    • +1

Mine increased also (but wasn't after 2 months)

Note that late last year, NBN increased their wholesale price to retailers who then pass on the increase to us.

  • +1

I enjoyed it for 3 months and then it turned to poop. Unreliable, constant drop outs and slow speeds. Changed back to launtel and it was instantly better. Launtel is money well spent if you need a reliable connection (work and gaming). If you want cheap then go with more

  • FYI, for FTTN users, you will need to factor in the modem price if you choose to use the modem they sell, or alternatively you can supply your own

    • +1

If needed, buy telstra smart modem off marketplace for $30 (some people even give it away for free) and put it in bridge mode

  • New home owner, I have a 50 percent for 3 years offer

    • How?

      • it is only for 50 Mbps package, if you have a home loan. Better to use 40% offer with home loan if you need higher speed.

        • I only have a 30% offer

  • To cba, I made 29 transactions this month. Is it really fair that one month I get the discount and the next month I get charged 35% more?

Please simply your criteria now rather than waiting for complaints to roll in before fixing it.

    • What happens if I no longer qualify for Yello Everyday or Everyday Plus benefits?

If after signing up to the Yello Everyday offer or Yello Everyday Plus offer you cease to meet the offer’s eligibility criteria, you will continue to receive any remaining portion of the 12 month discount period and ongoing discount as long as you continue to use an eligible CommBank online payment method.

      From t&c

      • Thankyou for clarifying that.

Eligibility criteria: Complete 30+ outbound transactions each month from your eligible transaction account or credit card

        Is what confused me

    • So 40% discount is for every month… Not just applied for 12 months…

  • I was going to move but when I checked my current Spinal was about the same for new customers $49

    Per Month
    Unlimited Data

    25Mbps

    https://www.spintel.net.au/home-internet/nbn

    • I’ve been using a Felix sim, $35 pm unlimited data 25mbps. Yes it’s on the voda mobile network but I’ve never had any issues, streaming Netflix fine every night. Plus I haven’t needed to disconnect when moving places.

      • Huawei B212?

      • Noticed it increased to $40/month

  • +5

I do not recommend. Terrible speeds on weekends. Literally 0.6 Mbps. Internet cut out often. Can’t load even ozbargain. So glad I switched away. Customers service terrible. No reply on their chat.

    • Dunno what connection you’re on or where you’re but I consistently get 100/40 even during peaks times.

    • @The Wololo Wombat :True, which one have you switched to, I'm on IINet but willing to switch mate.

      • I switched to Tangerine… which I think is the same parent company, but I've had a much better experience :)

  • +1

Anyone have a code they aren't going to use?

  • +1

Their 1000/50 Speed Tier typical evening speed of 350/45 is discouraging.

  • I thought it was just me but looking at the number of poor experiences with MORE above, they are indeed dodgy by deliberately throttling your speed and then gaslight you. They should be renamed to LESS.
Surely that's illegal and deserves an investigation by ACCC? Anyway, stay away folks…

    • highly unlikely they are 'deliberately throttling your speed'

Fortunately, my service with More is fine.

I did get the odd buffering with Disney+ (speedtest and other services were fine at the same time).

  • Perfect!!!

    I got 40% off.

Currently on 30% off which expires end of this month.

Do I need to sign up online or just ask them to apply the code?

    • +1

They can definitely apply the code manually to your current account. Just contact their customer service via live chat. That’s how I got my code applied.

      • Thanks, I just did that.

The customer service was pretty good (after the rigmarole of identifying myself) and knew exactly what to do.

Question for you, where did you get the prices from, e.g. 50/20 Mbps Price after 12 months $79.20 / month ?

My 50/20 plan is currently $88 (before discount).

When I signed up 2 years ago it was $70.

        • +1

          After 12 months, there will be 10% off ongoing. Hence $88 * 0.9 = $79.20.

It is showing that on the page too when I access my 35% off pricing.

          • @dairy-coffee: OK thanks.

I didn't read the 10% off ongoing afterwards.

To be honest, at 10% off ($79.20) I'll be churning.

  • Does dia transaction acc with debit card eligible?

  • Been on MORE 50/20Mbps for about 6 months, started at $38 a month, but was increased to $44pm. For the price i cant complain, but was a bit salty that i was supposed to be locked in for 3 years at that price and they increased it.

Connection is a bit flacky now and then, speeds are good, would happily pay $44 a month, but no way $57 or $79

  • I signed up for 3 months free deal recently beginning in a few weeks time. then if they good may switch over to the discounted plans.

    • I did that last week. 3month free then I'll go on 35% off for a year. Zero problems. Tangerine and more are the same company.

  • Just finished chatting with customer support, no luck as an existing customer. Following is the reply I got form chat :

    Nifiel
    11:47
As much as we love to apply

    Nifiel
    11:47
again the code is for new customer and existing who wish to take the offer for new address

    Nifiel
    11:48
    Not for existing address

    • +2

FYI, yesterday I went on live chat and informed the agent that I would like to cancel my current plan and open a new connection with my partner's unique code (I am not eligible for the offer, but my partner is). The agent told me not to worry about it and asked for my partner's unique code, then manually applied it to my account.

You might have to try another agent. :)

      • Awesome, thanks for that, I will try again later today

    • +1

Yup same issue dealing with an agent called John. He's advising me to disconnect and reconnect and noted "Our cancellation policy does not allow for refunds or credits and we do not pro-rata for the remaining days of your billing cycle, this is in our T&C that you agreed to when you signed up. It is best to cancel at the end of your cycle to maximize the usage"

  • Can somene please share/inbox activiation code of 30%? Mine just dissapeared from commbank.

    • Wouldn't mind that too please

  • More nbn and tangerine nbn are the same company.

    • +1

Yeah but do NOT transfer between them. They dropped the ball in every way possible, signed me up to two NBN plans in the process of fixing things (after initially selling me a $0 BYO modem without an NBN plan… 🤣), charged me for both, and any time I try to contact them to sort this mess out they A) refuse to compensate in any way, and B) close the ticket as resolved IN the initial response, zero chance to respond.

Let's not get into the sim swap issues… Surprised they didn't release our phone numbers in the process..

      • I have done this a while ago (Tangerine -> More) and it was pretty smooth, I didn't even had to change PPPoE account details.

        • FYI you can put bogus info in and it works still. Most routers require something to be put in but it’s all ignored on the other end.

          [email protected] / 123

Better then wasting time trying to find the original sms with the actual details…

          • @MetalPhreak: Once I had typing mistake in username and it didn't work until I fix it. This is with Tangerine though. I use a WAX206 which is not from ISP.

            • @bazingaa: Are you on FTTP? As long as i’m plugged into the right port on the NTU I’ve been using that bogus login above fine on More. Might not be the same across ISPs even though Tangerine is the same company…

FTTN probably still needs legit details.

  • Joined more, 23 hours later Aussie disconnected me. Rang More - we havent activated you yet.. Wait up to 24 hours. is this legit?

  • Hey guys, I work in the sales team for More. Please reach out if you have any issues/need advice or recommendations with selecting plans, happy to help!

    • Any of those 35% codes floating around? isn't showing in yello for me

      • Definitely is, are you meeting the criteria of 30+ outbound transactions each month from your CBA account? If you have, the offer should reflect in Yello after a month or less.

        • don't i only need 5+ outbound

          • @socheap: 5+ puts you in the Commbank Yello Everyday criteria which is 30% off.

        • Pm'd.

          • @sasangeleus: Hi @sasangeleus
Is the CommBank app stuck recently to show More Telecom codes for its qualified Yello customers?

    • Some agents in Customer service refusing to apply the 30% commbank yello codes to existing account, can you help with that?

      • Not from my end unfortunately. Policy-wise, you can't add a yello offer to an existing service. But as others have tried, you can try contact other agents via live chat/call to see if they can honor it. However this technically isn't allowed.

    • Hi mate, I chatted with 2 More CS and they all didn't honour the discount code. What should I do in this case?
Here's my situation as in my previous post:
I'm a current MORE NBN user, paying $79.20 monthly for NBN50. I opened the Commbank app and got the code, then went to More website and asked their agent to help applying the code. Apparently the agent said this offer can be apply if customer will open a new connection and cannot be applied under existing address. Can you guys confirm if this is correct? I have read the Ts&Cs and cannot find anything mentioned about existing address so I assume I'm eligible.

      • Check out my replies on the first page

    • Do I need keep the same CommBank Yello level for the same 12 months to get the 12 months MORE discount?

Or a Yello code when I sign with MORE would mandate a 12-month contract with the discount & the monthly price locked?

      • +3

Once you enter in a Yello code, it would lock in that discounted price for 12 months.

  • I have everyday plus but no offer in yello :/

    • Same here :/

what is the actual speed you get, above link says 200/21 & 350/45 not 250/25 and 1000/50

  • If you made 5 transactions you can claim the 30% voucher to be used for new signup?
But if I am aiming for a 35% voucher with 30 transactions, does it mean I better not claiming the first one and skip it for the second voucher for nbn registration?

  • Still waiting for my new service to be connected, hopefully they work on weekends!

  • With this there is no home phone option, does any one know if we can call them after registration and add the home phone

    • You have to sign up for NBN then contact More to add the home phone plan. It's $8 for the first 12 months then $9 after.

  • Anyone on More in the Quakers Hill area? Please share any experiences regarding typical speeds / reliability. HFC btw

  • Anyone have a code they aren't going to use?

  • Any 30 outbound card transactions hack?

  • I am regretting a little switching from TPG NBN25 to More NBN25 on this deal…
Getting very slow speeds (under 8Mbps) and can't even load a 1080p YouTube video… Didn't have any such issues with TPG on this same speed plan :'(

  • Does this config require vlan?

  • Any tips for getting the code to show ? I have Yello -'Everyday plus'

    • Same here :/

    • I have 'Everyday plus', but no 'More Telecom' offer too.

      • +1

The offer finally came through today

        • Came through today for me

  • same. Everyday plus benefits unlocked. All I see is random little birdy offers..nothing worthwhile and no more code

  • +1

If you’re planning the disconnect / reconnect to get the discount, I wonder if it’s better to do it on a weekday?

Disconnected this morning (Sunday), then ordered new connection around 10am. Still no internet 6pm this evening (FTTP). Many years ago Aussie Broadband hooked me up in about 20mins.

Plenty of data on my Woolies sim thankfully.

  • Getting 260/22 on a 250/25 plan, pretty happy so far. I think their customer service is good.

The website and the billing system is confusing though.

  • have a 35% off nbn code, DM if interested!

    • DMed

  • -1

Does anyone know if you have to use the commbank card to pay or just need the code. Want to give the discount to my parents and get NBN at their place.
