Based on the numbers, 60mm thickness should be able to somehow fit a hatchback extended to the front seat, not fit a sedan I assume.
Fit on my camry, open the back seat so it can slide through from the trunk/boot.

That makes WAY more sense. Also explains why the 5-shelf unit has lower capacity (500KG). Plenty for my needs, but it makes me far more wary of the "150kg" MDF units; that's stuff all for the size of the shelf units!
Still, pretty sturdy shelves the ones I have (mesh range similar to the deal item). I've stood on the top shelf to work in the roof space… I don't recommend doing that, but it held up fine with only slight deformation of the mesh.

Yes, manual says:-
Rated at 625 kg per shelf (i.e. per level).
So the 4 shelves can handle a total load of 2500 kg evenly distributed (according to the manual!!)
