    What's the difference between KSM180 and KSM192?

    • +2

They are essentially the same model but the KSM180 is (I believe) reserved for their limited edition once-a-year colour.

(https://kitchenaid.com.au/pages/stand-mixers-comparison) kinda shows the same specs but it's not the exact Queen of Hearts KSM180 model (for me it shows a Blossom Design KSM180, which comes with an additional accessory over the KSM192, which is not the case for the Queen of Hearts).

Thanks. Will there be any deal for the bowl-lift version by any chance?

    Discriminating against WA

    • +11

WA took all the GST money so can afford full price

      • We get less percentage that we pay of GST than any other state and have for like 15 years 🤦

    • -1

I wouldn't worry about it, it's a shit deal, only for people who think the accents are worth overpaying to get less for. So, really only valuable to eastern states people.

      • hey don't tarnish us with the same brush. they should make a special edition maroon one the Queenslander will be all over it

    • +1

now you’ve upset people from the mendicant states and territories.
(My view as a state tax the GST raised in a state should belong to that state (disclosure: not from WA).

Was about to get one, but checked with daughter she said it's the cheaper model with only 1 bowl and 2 attachments. Why would the orig price on it be so high, is it just the colour?

    • +12

Its Limited Edition for idiots to pay premium colour for a Queen of Hearts' red with no difference of normal red, their highest model KSM195 was sell for under $400 on theire website not long ago

      • but it's not any red.. it's Queen of Hearts' red

    • +1

      It is the colour.
Which tbh I would be wary of, as if you want to match appliances will be a problem. In fact on this issue alone I would not buy this model. i am not sure this red is the same as “candy apple red” or “red” or whatever, but be cautious.
We bought a KS195 limited edition a couple of years back which has all the attachments. It's a great stand mixer, but the only negative is it is the feathered pink colour, which is a sort of powderish coated pale pink. This colour is just what the daughter wanted, however none of the other kitchenaid appliances; blenders and the like are coloured “feathered pink” the closet pink is smooth and a more reddish tone.

No other kitchenaid appliance is coloured “Queen of Hearts” red. it might be the same anyway, but who can be sure unless physically see them side by side?

Then it's for the best you didn't get it.

I got this a few years ago for the ex, I still have it. Think it was about $650-700 but came with the ice cream and utensil kits as a bonus.

Those who can't afford this like me, kmart might be a option to give a try.

  • Not out of stock yet, just purchased one. Thanks OP!

  • what's the usual price? there's ones going for 748 on kitchenaid website but that has the extra small bowl?

    • +1

If you google it other sites are selling for about $900

      • Harvey Norman have the bigger kitchenaid lift mixers for $899 atm. Seems better value considering their normal price.

  • +2

I think I like looking at my stand mixer more than I like using it.

  • Hi sales rep, why does your website say the product can be delivered to my address in Bowraville but the ebay says it can't ship to Bowraville?
