Seems a good price compared to local retailers. I have these headphones and they are excellent quality.

I have a pair of turtlebeach headsets and Ivez found them to be very average quality….

  • I ordered a PULSE wireless PS3 headset and i hope they are of excellent quality.

  • Its a 7.1 headsets but somehow there's only optical input, thus can only produced 5.1 Dolby digital sound..

  • Bought these ages ago and they're okay, not the best. If you're a serious gamer looking for a wireless headset then these are okay (they do a decent job for listening to people's footsteps etc). But you can definitely get better wired headsets.

  • how does this compare to the official PS3 wireless headset?

  • tempted to buy my 3rd PX5… :)

  • I am tempted as well.
How do these go as a hands free phone via Bluetooth?

Also it looks like if you want to use these on PC you will need a Mic lead connected from the base of the headset into the mic in on you PC which pretty much makes them wired for PC gaming unless your PC has Bluetooth.

    • i used it for 7 months before it cracked and broken :`( i was using it for both my mobile via Bluetooth and in my laptop while home(and it connects to both at the same time 1 via Bluetooth and the other via the base station)

it is not having a noise cancellation so you and the other person in the call will be able to hear the outside noise, you have to position the microphone in a particular position so that it will good. but if you are going to use it just for the music player then it is fine(but not that great quality for music though)…

i use it with laptop(not PC) so the microphone is good enough to pickup the sound when i am playing in it.

      • Thanks for the info mate.
I might hold off I think and wait for the tritton or astro stuff to get cheaper.

  • Fantastic price.

Cheapest I had seen was around $185, and that was really limited stock (usually around $220)

I have a pair of these. Can definitely recommend.

  • These are great for PS3 co-op gaming. Separate volume controls for game sounds and voice.
