Just picked up a leaflet instore at Big W-
Shop in store or online from 5pm on Dec 6th and spend $100 or more and present your Everyday Rewards card, and you'll receive $10 off
Offer valid Thurs 6 Dec 2012 at Big W stores or on BigW.com.au from 5pm to close of business (12am AEST for online purchases). For transactions at Bigw.com.au, login and enter your Everyday Rewards number to receive your discount. Excludes tobacco, gift cards, big w vision, dvd kiosk, biw w photo and big w movie rental gift card

This deal is "$10 off when you spend $100…".
Present $100 worth of products & EDR card = $90 on Paywave.
But for $109.99+ worth of products, its a different matter.
I just tell them I only have $99 in my account - never a problem (so far).
Some stores haven't upgraded to PayWave/Pass terminals yet. Colonnades in SA comes to mind. I buy comparably priced items at KMart (which does have the new tech) instead of at BigW. Also ING's offer is only for $99.99 or less.
As flyingtrapeze said, try to split the payment between card and cash. Hopefully it doesn't confuse the checkout staff.

Does that mean 5pm-9pm if you're going to visit an actual store?
