  • just get the iphone one, its for ipad as well

  • It seems it's free for US market.
For aussie, it's still $5.49 (at the moment)

  • I'm absolutely against switching regional accounts. It means you have to switch accounts whenever there is an update in order to get it.

If people want alternative recommendations, I used to use VLC but it's very crash-happy on iOS 6. I've since switched to GPlayer which seems to work well (I mostly watch FLVs).

GoodPlayer and CineXPlayer also have good wraps though the latter doesn't play FLV.

  • i highly recommend air video - https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/air-video-free-watch-your/id…

there is a paid one which has a bit more functionality..

  • It was in the Australian store when i first hit download.

Then it disappeared and now its asking me to buy it.
    F#$% apple…

    • It's probably date limited, we being ahead of the US will mean it expires here first.

  • Lucky that I downloaded straight away once I've got the email notification.

  • Apparently this latest version is worse..

I've got the old version, and files which work in it don't work in this one. Something about less support of certain file types. Either way I love the old version.

  • i also managed to get this in the 3.5 seconds that it was available in the aust store. i've been using the old (green) version. anyone know what the differences are between the versions?

  • Oh, and to everyone saying it was only available for a short period, I actually grabbed a few days ago for free?
