This game should only ever be played on a DOS Intel 286 with 4MB RAM or below

This game should NEVER BE PLAYED.

It is evil. Impossible! I hated when I was a kid…

Thanks though, guess I'll have another crack at it - and my sanity!

Those damn running jumps still give me nightmares. I can't do it to myself again.

        • +1 to that! Impossible to jump across without trying a thousand times and cursing a thousand times over

I kept dying on level 11, do they have any feelings for us when you know how much effort it took to reach there. The times when you could not even save the game.

Pfft. No 286 ever had 4MB of RAM.

I played it on an XT with 640k in glorious 4-colour CGA and PC speaker bleeps.

Mine did! 286/12Mhz, but had 4MB of RAM, I was a KING! Used for a massive RAMdrive, himem.sys & emm386.exe. Good old days, it was my first PC - and I earned the money for it by progtramming some apps for companies in dBase IV and FoxBase (later FoxPRO)
Great find OP, looks like I will have to borrow my wife's iPhone more often :-)

  • I think my record was about 24 minutes as a 12yo kid to finish haha.

    Good times.

I could never finish it, maybe I was just too young for it at the time.

Who opened the box of nostalgia?

Clocking this game as a kid (without cheats) was one of the most memorable things I've ever done.

Those vertical slicer things freaked me out and if you get cut… it looks so gross as a kid.

      • Shhing!

  • Says "Warning over 50 meg - should be installed over Wifi" - i've never seen that message before! Must be a bug that was added with iOS 6. Sorry not bug.. "feature" as Microsoft used to call them.

Wow, this is one game I completed!!! I need the iOS version :)

  • I found the controls a bit tricky, and gave up trying to finish it in iOS.

  • Brings back fond memories…miss the background music on the iOS…thanks OP
