Just got back from Japan last month and wanna start learning Japanese, jumped on the App Store to see what was available just to get more of a feel for the language and noticed this little gem. Has great reviews and for free why not start learning :D

Edit: it's universal, enjoy on iPhone & iPad

      Pleco is pretty good. Massive dictionary, OCR, flashcards, example sentences, but can be quite pricey if you get all the options.

    Imiwa (formerly kotoba) is the better app IMO and has always been free.

    I've used this app for a couple of years now, and have studied Japanese for over 10 years. This is by far the best electronic dictionary for native English studying Japanese that I have ever come across.

    Highly recommended, even at full price!
