expired Chemist Warehouse Boxing Day 50% Vitamins (until 6th January 2013)
This was posted 4 months 25 days ago, and might be an out-dated deal
I have been waiting for this deal to come around again. I mainly buy Blackmores vitamins and the 180 capsules sustained release multivitamins which are $31.23 again (I think the last time it was at this price was mid year some time).
ps: not all vitamins are sold at "50%" off as per comments below.

+3 votesSearch for the specific vitamin supplement that you need, not the brand. The majority of the stuff Vitacost stock are much better than the junk they sell in Australia and only cost a fraction of the price. Compare the ingredients & amount per serving and you'll never want to buy vitamins locally again.
+1 voteBecause Vitacost don't have Blackmores, or Swisse, or any of the brands we are more familiar with here in Australia. You would either have to research for the equivalent product, or change to something new. I'd rather not personally but others might be fine with it.

NOW Foods are also highly regarded.
edit: nevermind, it looks like they've pulled their products from Vitacost.

Unfortunately, NOW Foods has prevented us from carrying their products at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Centrum don't appear to be 50% off based on these prices http://www.chemistwarehouse.com.au/category.asp?id=520
+1 voteSome of the comments here remind me that vitamins are like religion; everyone's is the best and no discussion will be entered into. I was born a Blackmores, I shall die a Blackmores, etc.
I have my favourite brand but I did look at the home brand Vitacost ones today. They were well priced and the top of the range male was comparable to the one I usually buy, so I might give it a go.
You just have to remember that "oils ain't oils" as John Laws used to say and their are different level of effectiveness of ingredients, such as CoQ10 made from Ubiqui(none) or made from Ubiqui(nol). The first is cheap and realtively ineffectual in small amours but you can still put CoQ10 on your bottle, just like you can with Ubiqui(nol).
Then you have to look at the manufacturing process, including how all the ingredients are put together and whether the tablets are entric coated and on and on it goes.
So, be open to different supplements, but don't necessarily assume that the tub of 400 Omega 3 tablets for $10 is the same a smaller bottle for more money, or that Ricky Ponting's endorsement is the gold standard.

+2 votesMost of the the Chemist Warehouse price is already 10-30% off the "RRP" on a daily basis. This is how they make you perceive you are getting items at "warehouse" prices. This 50% adds about an extra 10-20% off their prices, good deal but not an absolute bargain!

Time to stock up as this only really comes round twice, maybe three times a year. On the products I buy this deal saves me heaps.
