  • I'm guessing this price includes the booking fee since the website says 2 for $76.90

Keep in mind the field for this tournament is incredibly weak. Lots of players have pulled out, but still be a good night either way.

    • You get to watch Tomic (Australian) and the defending champ! Im sure thats worth the $80 alone, if you feel like staying and watching another you can!

I wouldnt exactly call it weak……

Jarrko Nieminen (defending champ) is Number 44 in the world with two titles in his 13 year career. One was the Sydney International last year and the previous one was Auckland in 2006.

Tomic (rand 64) from memory didn't beat a single top 50 player last year. Granted, he's on a winning streak right now, but the majority of that includes an exhibition tournament in Perth. He did beat Djokovic (current world rank 1) there, which is impressive. Personality wise, the guy is a **** in my opinion.

Granollers vs Seppi (the second match) is the Number 33 vs Number 28 in the world respectively. If not for the Aussie factor, I'd say that is probably the more interesting one to watch.

I wouldn't call this incredibly weak, but it's true that a lot of players have pulled out. Good value at 2-for-1, but I wouldn't pay $80 for it.

  • These lead-in tournaments to the Aus Open are not great. Top players often withdraw/retire hurt because of a small injury concern, because the main event (Aus Open) is immediately after. But Tomic is playing well and looks to be taking the tournament seriously.

Original price of ~$80 each seems like a ripoff but 2 for ~$80 is ok I guess.

Meh Tomic is devaluing the event. Seriously anybody else great but that tanking loser and I will pass.
I bet if Tomic makes the final those tickets also will go on special!
