this post is not a bargain.

it's double the price of this ebay listing.

1 year warranty ! and if it breaks are you going to waste your time and petrol to go back to Dick Smith to get a replacement?

    AUS$1.39 shipped.

    No bargain here, move along.

$1.39 with free shipping…. on ebay. Even if this one breaks down you can still buy 6 more and be in front rather than the DS offer. No bargain here… rather just another rip off as the DS is also chinese made.

$3-4 from australian sellers on ebay with free shipping! (as for a replacement, i don't think you would have problems with trusted ebay sellers.)
P.S i have tried several items like this but sound quality was crap(especially if your cassette deck hasn't been used for decades). i would rather spend $50-60 and buy a radio with aux+usb slot
P.S i'm only using my car's cassette deck as an iphone holder :)

I keep reading it as an MP3 (file) converter, which it isn't. Would work with anything with a headphone socket.

  • used to have one of these back why "What is Love" was a big hit…

  • Do people still use these? I used to use one of these in the old days to convert a portable cd player to car stereo. Although the concept was good I never found the volume very loud at all. These were just so clunky and sound wasn't that good either.

Upgrading the stereo to cd/mp3/wma player was the best move I ever did.

Car CD/MP3/WMA tuners are dirt cheap these days. Something like this Sony cd/mp3/wma car stereo unit from JB HiFi for $65.

  • Where do I put my MP3 in and how many MP#'s does it hold?

    • 3.5mm jack play and play from any device with 3.5mm jack input
