RaboPlus, one day only $100 in your account when opening an online account
If you apply online today (1-8-2007) for a new account. RaboPlus will put $100 in your account.
The only requirement is that you have a $1000 initial deposit.
You must use INF0807 as the promotion code.

There are about 5 steps to completing the online application……it’s at about step 3 or 4……perhaps you have to use the specific url from InfoChoice which is : http://www.raboplus.com.au/infochoice/
Note the end of the url makes this “unique” to the normal web url……quite possibly why you aren’t seeing the page to add the promo code.
RaboBank is one of the largest Banks in the world…..located in Holland (as is ING - you see Billy Connoly adverts for). They are a mutual organisation, and in Australia have largely functioned as a rural bank. They are presumably spreading their wings into the retail sector in Australia now.

If you have a look at the “About Us” on the parent website it mentions :
“Rabobank has a AAA credit-rating, is considered among the top 10 safest banks in the world, and enjoys an award-winning sustainability rating in economic, environmental, and social categories……”
They hold an Australian Banking licence and are subject to the same laws & rules of all “Deposit Taking Institutions”, regulated by ARPA.

Yes it is a browers issue. try selecting some text and dragging the mouse down to the bottom of the screen which then a continue button should appear if not im sure if you select the Enter key on your key board it may go to the next screen.
Just applied two accounts (one for me, another one for someone else in the family). Make sure you type in the promo code correctly as there is no feedback on whether the code is correct.
Lucky that I procrastinated and did not apply for an account when it was first posted here two months ago.

…..it may be the case that they are a PLC company in Australia….but I’d guess the mutual Global Bank would be the sole holder of the Australian “branch”…….so I guess it’s a quasi-mutual.
In the same way that a Credit Union may have an “affiliated” Financial Planning Services company…..the Credit Union (as a mutual) would be the sole holder of 100% of the capital of that “subsidiary”. :->)
So it’s not really all that “bad news”!! ;->)
