Apple iPad 11" A16 128GB Wi-Fi (Silver Only) $479 Delivered @ Hub by Triforce ($455.05 Price Beat @ Officeworks)

760

I just bought one of these using OW PB over the phone.

This is for the silver colour only, doesn’t matter to me as I’m putting it in a case anyway.

Hub also has the 256GB in yellow for $669 ($635.55 OW PB).

End of financial year sale extended, don't know how long for.

Price beat at Officeworks

OP Edit - found a better deal, Technology Outlet has this for $459 ($436.05 OW PB):

Bought this from a deal few months ago, sold it for same as I paid on FBM, got a mini 7 for $600 after GST back = business.
    Prefer the mini better.

    Price beat at Officeworks $455.05
Pay with Discount gift cards (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/912445) $432.30
    Get 15x flybuy points ($35.93)
    Total 396.37

  • Great deal OP.

As a side note, this attractive pricing shows just how Apple wants you locked into their iOS ecosystem - That is where the true money is made.

Micro transactions, personal information, shopping habits, in app purchases, App store purchases $$$

Any business don’t want you to buy their products sir?
      Your side note sucks

  • whats the ATL on this so far?

  • Is this ipad better than iPad 9? I found many people ,they put 400$ just for iPad 9 in fb which bought recently , so I am confused…

    • it's ozbargain. EVERything is cheaper here

    • -1

a used M1 ipad pro 11 from 2021 is much better than this.

    • +1

This one is better than iPad 9. People ask higher prices on second hand market as they leave room to be negotiated down to $250-300. Or the $400 ones you saw could be 512GB with cellular.

  • Has anyone used this deal for an OW price beat? Did it work? I’m in the market for the 256gb version.

    • +1

Yes. Yes. I bought the 128gb version.

    • No luck for me. The cashier said can only match prices for big physical stores like JB / HN

      • +4

They lied to you. This is from the OW web site:
"Our Price Beat Guarantee includes products you find online - as long as the item is identical and in stock. When assessing the PBG from online stores we also take into account the added cost of delivery to your location (if any)."
        Link: https://www.officeworks.com.au/information/policies/price-be…

Call them on 1300 633 423 and get them to price beat Technology Outlet $459 ($436.05 OW PB) and choose pickup from your local store, or free delivery.

        • Thanks! I went back but this time another cashier. She checked the tech website thoroughly and finally did the PBG!

    • +1

Yes, bought a 128G version this afternoon for $454.10 from OW. No issues with a PBG via phone but decided to just buy it in store - which is always more complicated/annoying but did work fine in the end.

  • +2

Don’t forget to get $20 off by using code TAKE20

  • FYI - Costco also has the 256GB for 679 in all colours
I tried to get the pricebeat with OW but they would only do it on the yellow one from Hub (Triforce) and they don't price beat Costco any longer…
So ended up buying thru Costco instead.

Can confirm they will price beat Technology Outlet: Final price $436.05

  • +3

Also price matched to get it for $436.05. Thanks OP!

  • Can someone post an officeworks receipt? Thanks

  • I just picked up the 256gb model and yes they did the price beat. Worked out to $645.

    • Did you have to buy the yellow one?

  • +1

I just did a price beat at officeworks and they marked the price to beat as $478 and their PBG made the price $454.10. No complaint on my part.

Didn’t really have the time to go to BigW to buy the 5% off gift cards but it was nice not to pay the $487 normal officeworks price..

And got ~450 flybuys points worth..$2.20?

  • Will this price the lowest price during the year? I'm just thinking to buy it now or wait another few months.

  • Managed to get it for $436.05 from OW price beat. Wouldn’t let me use more than 2 x $50 giftcards though

    • I used 9x $50 gift cards on the $436.05 PB. Might depend on the staff/manager, if the store is busy and/or they think ppl are abusing gift cards? Or maybe they weren’t too happy to do the PB for you on this one.

I did also use 28 gift cards on an iPhone 16 at the same OW a few days ago.

  • Anyone got a lead on a good price for cellular version? All the usual places have it for $737… Seems mad that it's a $300 premium.

  • Jbhifi price beat?

  • Great deal OP!

    I got the OzB Pro deal;
Technology Outlet OW 5% PB: $436.05
10% Ultimate gift cards (3 weeks ago): -$43.6
    15x Flybuys points (I got 10x offer and OnePass 5x): -$32.7
    TRS refund ~9%: -$39.64
    Net: ~$320.11

Next level is tax deductions but won’t work for me on this one.

First OW I went to refused to match online stores since stock may be sourced overseas. They offered for me to speak to the manager but since I was going to be using gift cards I decided to move on. Second OW I went to was great, did have to go through manager.

Only 1 left in stock at Technology Outlet, hope no-one buys it!

  • How to price match with OW? Just tried with JB HiFI got rejected!

    • +1

      https://www.officeworks.com.au/information/policies/price-be…

The technology outlet one has increased in price, but the triforce still appears to be available.

      • Does OW price match triforce? JB HiFi rejected my price match request for both businesses.

        • Yes. OW price beat technology outlet for me this morning, so triforce should be okay. Others in the comments have had success with it.

  • +1

OW rejected pricematch with techoutlet as their abn isn't listed on their webpage. Somehow managed to get hub triforce pricematch working though. Thanks!
