These are more for audiophiles who don’t mind wired headsets, and want quality hi-res mastered audio. For those who prefer convenience of Bluetooth earbuds, headphones, I’m afraid this is not for you, because you’d get cables and dongles hanging.

Questyle M15i $259.7, If you have top dollar. Reviewed as one of the best Portable DAC. It is detailed and hits harder. Recommended for audiophile.

Questyle M15C $96.60, Still very close quality to M15i, lots of savings. What’s the difference - the chip it uses, it’s smoother and more mellow. For iPhone lightning port user, it doesn’t come with LTC02 Lossless Transfer Audio OTG Adapter Cable $32.90 or get it elsewhere. Recommended for most people. You’d be happy getting this bargain.

Questyle M12i $64.40, Not as powerful as M15 yet still good value.

  How do you get these prices? When I browse to the M12i, it shows price as $92, not $64.40. If you are displaying prices not in AUD, you may want to state this a little better. This is OzBargain and not 'mericaBargain…

  How does this compare to the Fiio BTR17?

  The Fiio seems to be reviewed well, but is more than 2x the price so if the one in the post is almost as good, I’ll take it.

  How does the BTR17 compare to the M15i as well, as a similarly priced alternative?

    CS43198 vs Dual ESS ES9069Q

    the fiio does a lot lot lot lot more

    this one has competitors with a similar chipset for around half

    I’d recommend only M15C and M15i.
    Recommendations are personal taste.

    The main feature of the Fiio is that it's bluetooth. If you don't need that connectivity option, you might as well save the money and get a wired dongle. Don't know if I'd get this one though.
