Entertainment book

Hi

After the Dicksmith 10% off giftcards from ebay, I realised that my family do spend quite abit of money at either woolies/coles.

was thinking of getting the entertainment book and using it to get 5% off giftcards but are there any fees (besides the price of the book) with purchasing these giftcards?

  • no extra fees. You have to wait a week or so for them to arrive on the mail, and you also have a limit that you can buy for each book, I believe its 2 or 3k worth of gift cards.

    • Pretty sure I've exceeded $3k, no issues

  • thanks

  • Don't you have to pay for registered mail delivery too? I'm unsure if it applies specifically to entertainment book purchases, but other 5%-off programs (various insurers) have added delivery costs. It can negate the savings unless you get a lot of them.

    • +1

No. I just ordered a $100 wish card other day and i didn't have to pay postage; Just had to pay $95.

    • For Coles ones they used to send registerd post for free (3+ years ago) then they changed it to be standard post but you could pay extra to send it registered, now it is just sent free standard post with no option for registered - which seems a little dodgy, however, "Gift cards are sent out un-activated. Gift card activation details will be provided in the Tax and Activation Invoice emailed to the purchaser." so should be fine.

Not sure on Wollies ones. Probably the same.

  • The book is worth it just for the grilld vouchers! But, yes the woollies and Coles vouchers r awesome, though the ing deal has served me well instead. Too bad it runs out in June.

  • And speaking of the devil - someone has just posted up that they are selling them, and at a $5 discount. Sydney books only though. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/100128

    • i know.. sigh… but I already made the order for it earlier in the day before that post came up… and I live in sydney too.. too bad

  • my work is selling the Melbourne book for staff for $55, pm me if you are interested.

  • We are selling the books to raise money for my son's school in Sydney's South-west, Revesby South Public school, so we can build an outdoor play area for the students. If you want to support a public school you can buy the books here http://tinyurl.com/bczxxrb.

You can select the delivery option or collect from the school. If you want to arrange collection from another location in Sydney PM me and we can try and work something out. We can also add other books from any region so let me know if yours isn't on the list.
