Recommend the best hair dryer?

thinking of getting a hair dryer but i have never owned one before. purely will be used for blow drying hair and not doing any other fancy stuff.

need to be one that doesn't burnt my hair or scalp so i'm happy to pay more.need one that can blow dry hair at 90% within minutes.

any recommendation? thanks

I use either a bath towel -or- the breeze on a sunny, warm day, myself. :-)

Best advice would be to get an AC hair dryer, not a DC dryer. The AC dryers are a little bit heavier but will be a lot better quality.

You will notice the difference when comparing them in store.

bought one from coles (reliance brand) about 12 years ago. cost maybe $15. still going strong. 3 heat settings (cool, warm, hot), 2 speeds (slow, fast).

can't fault it.

I have a parlux and the extra cost is worth it for me. It's high powered, dries a lot faster than the dodgy ones in hotels and gyms
