  • Thanks! I didn't get the iron but found a 2 toasted sandwich/jaffle maker for the same price - I've been wanting one for work. I think I got the last one, as it is now out of stock.

Not sure whats the diff between the 2 irons,
    One is CFI750
    the other is CFI270

I am guessing CFI750 is the newer model (it was also added at a later date than the CFI270)

    Also prices wise:
    CFI750 was $8 at Apr 5th

Not sure about the other one.

Just in time for the new Iron Man movie!!

edit: oh wait, someone already made that joke. bring on the negs.

  • just in time to buy some shirts to use the new iron

great find OP however my only issue with these cheap irons is the bloody cord is only 1m long, major pain in the arse!!!

    • +17

Well if that's where you're trying to plug it in, it will be kind of painful no matter how long the cord is. Probably also the reason the cord is bloody.

  • What's postage costs looking like

    • $9

  • Thanks OP…

Shame I bought a $10 iron from Coles the other week.

This would be perfect for waxing your snowboard (that's what I used mine for).

  • Cant go wrong for $4.83!!!

  • Sold out

  • I wonder how many they had….. before we ozbargained it.

  • Anyone know the cost of these before the sale?

    • not 4 dollars :D

  • OZBARGAINED! :-(

  • Damn missed this one:(

    • Still have some at WA. I just came back from Target in Carousel, they had heaps at the front entry still mark at $4.83. Also, if you are in Vic park there is also some at the front counter where the customer enquires are. Quality looks ok, but for $4.83 i dont think you can go wrong. But I did saw 1 guy bought 8 of them………

  • Just Wondering, How long does it take them to get the item to the store for pickup?

    • If I recall correctly it was between 5-10 days.

  • How is this better than the same 2000w iron at kmart? Serious question.

On a closer look it looks EXACTLY like the kmart steam iron…

    • +1

Its better because its CHEAPER. $13 vs $4.83

Also they are clearing all these out because they are introducing the newer model (which is 2200W but other features are the same).

Says on the website that it is 2000W however I checked in store it is indeed 2200W.
