  can someone please give me the spec of the charger to find a replacement?
  cos i lost my charger and its been sitting in the garage for over a year! not sure if the battery died yet.

    A proper charger will cost you more than this lantern with charger.
    The bundled charger is probably just a 'dumb' 13.5V supply.

    But yeah, its a 12V 2.8AHr gel cell, so

      Agree, just buy another led lantern, better value and use the new charger to do both.

        thanks for the info, the jaycar one is only 350mA and it costs more than the lantern.
        might as well get another one at this price, then i get two working ones.

  Went there this morning (Morley store) and they have nothing!
  Asked a few staff and nobody knew of the item.

  You sure it was Target and not Kmart!
  If Target where in the store as they don't really have a outdoor/camping section as such
  just one small wall with a few items for "outdoors"

    IIRC, go in, turn right, and they were on your right. Shelves facing toward entry. Not on the wall.
