Half price (reduced for quick sale) cadbury blocks. Ranging from the 140g to the 300g blocks. They were on an end aisle display near the meat section.

I am sure I read somewhere that cadbury are increasing the size of their blocks slightly, perhaps this is why they are reduced to make way for new sized blocks?
Ah makes sense. If the new size is larger, then ergo this is the reduced size.
Didn't they reduce them a couple of years back due to "customer's requests" ???

Please reduce the size of your chocolate blocks but keep the price the same.

yep, in 2009 or so they reduced the "family" block size from 250g to 200g. While keeping the price the same.
I don't think it was a consumer request. What I used to like about the bigger blocks was that you could bit the raised chocolate bit off the slab bit, now you can't do it because its too small.

200g blocks were $1.99 at my local ritchies supa iga this week (qld)
me too (Gladstone Park, VIC) They were marked as 'Manager's specials to compete with the 2 for $6 special WW had last week.
routine 350g bigW belgian block, or high quality aldi, for about $2.83, not about to switch.
