This is a great price, I think the lowest price around is about $299. The only issue is that it is locked to the Crazy John's network and it costs $200 to unlock it in teh first 12 months. I'm not sure if it will work for Vodafone sims though cos Crazy John's uses their network.

Why not go to Xavier for a 19 dollar unlock for this phone. BTW, awesome price
it DOES work with vodafone sim, i was givin one and it workes just fine for me.

If you guys want to know how to unlock the fone,Ill show you how. My sister bought one and I was mucking around with it and I found out how to unlock. Apparently it is only locked by a security code which appears when you change the sim.
I can't guarantee this will work for you but it worked for me and now my sister can use a optus sim card.

U need to use the crazy johns sim card or else the security code will pop up. Therefore, put the crazy johns sim card to get into the home screen.

I can confirm that the unlock worked for me - using a Three usim in there no problems.
The touch screen works great, good phone.
Just be aware that u have to put the sim card in upside down (if ur used to nokias) so that the cut-off triangle corner is at the bottom right.

i got this phone, and have been trying to use it with iptus for awhile with no success.
sadly, before i found your method i used the unlock Sim type 2845#*700# method, but managed to press lock and lock it.
any chance you have a work around for that?
when i use your method, it does the factory reset but it still says incorrect USIM.
