Total Control, A European Game Developer, have secured the rights to make a brand new Jagged Alliance game - Jagged Alliance Flashback. They have launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the development.Unlike previous attempts to reboot the franchise, they are promising heavy fan/community involvement in the development of the game and sticking to the original JA roots to make it successful.
Total Control have partnered with Humble Bundle to give anyone who contributes $5 or more to the kickstarter campaign copies of all the original JA games -

    Loved JA2! Been wanting it for ages but the steam price has been too expensive. First ever kickstarter i may contribute too!

    And yeah was disappointed that the remake wasn't turn based.

    That means you got to wait till it reached 350K, currently still at 120K.

    Donate $25 and you'll get the flashback too.

      Yes, you have to wait for it to be successfully funded, but you don't get charged anything until it is.

    Ok, so its a bit confusing, where do I sign up exactly.
    Loved the Original and would definitely be willing to contribute specially, spending time on the Classics would be great as well as I have lost my originals.

        Yeah figured it out in the end, hopefully there will be a miracle and it will get required funding, have done all I can, keeping fingers crossed.

          I don't think it'll take a 'miracle'. Kickstarters almost always have a strong finish, and this one is a long way away from the end atm. I don't think it'll have any problems getting funded, especially now that the classics are thrown in.

    Appreciated, but this can also derail a project quite easily.

      I seriously doubt that'll happen. A game developer promising "heavy fan/community involvement" means they'll inform the community of their decisions and look for any major backlash, but that doesn't mean they'll actually let the community lead & derail the project. You don't need to be a developer very long to work out that your users are just about the worst people to get design ideas from.

    Come on, granted Ozbargain is not the best place but forget the monetary value for once.
    25-30 is peanuts, think nostalgia, the smell of the swamp, the sweat, the fatigue, the camo, the knifing, the sniper shot where the enemy falls off the building-No other game even comes close to that depiction of a guy falling from the roof.

    The team appears to be doing a good job and the promo video shows the project is headed in a good direction.
