    That may be your personal opinion, but iPads have been an extremely beneficial visual educational tool and an augmentative alternative communication device for my three children who have Autism Spectrum Disorders. In my opinion they are priceless. Lisa M

    I share your views, notwithstanding specialised apps which target and are designed to assist learning disorders.
    It is dissappointing to see children fully absorbed by electronic devices for hours on end. Parents should realise that their children will be conditioned to seeking virtual rewards as opposed to directing their efforts to achieving benefits in the real world.
