$40 more than the one posted by Uni***, but Kogan is so much better, at least for $40.

    talk about future-proof, NOT!

    • +2

8 cores vs 4G. For somepeople, i assume alot, 4G doesn't matter because many have budget plans (aldi, kogan, vaya)

      • +2

Even then, I've got a Note 2 & 4G coverage is only in the city & it's still flakey.

    • Future proof? till what 4G drops in price and 11 months down the line when apple Samsung/HTC release a new phone that everyone wants and makes the excuse to upgrade to????

    • +1

      oxymoron

  • Wow the price is dropping fast, it'd be foolish to buy now… wait for another month it's gonna be $600

    • Wait another 6 months after that and it will be free!

      • That would be the S3!

  • An extra gig of ram, 0.2" biggerbscreen, 13mp camera. 3grams lighter but double the price of the GS3?

Suppose the screen is 1080p not 720p but for the price.
Mind you, all your software features will be avilable on GS3 in the next firmware update.

    • They said that about the GS2 to the GS3, but it never really happened.

    • You're forgetting infra-red port…no more remote controls…

    • the screen is much much better… 441ppi, you would say you wouldnt see much diff IRL, but if you put one side by side, its very very obvious

    • Also has much better cpu, gpu, more sensors, 24% bigger battery, better camera, infrared port, gorilla glass 3, hsdpa 42mbps,

Mind you, all your software features will be avilable on GS3 in the next firmware update.

I seriously doubt that. Some features will be, but not all.

  • the price wars have begun….. wouldn't be suprised if they drop to $499 by the end of the month lol

  • How many s4 deals are we going to have?

    • -3

I think this will be the last one. I can't imagine it ever being this cheap again.

      • +1

Sure- expect another one in a few hours a few $ cheaper…then another one ….

  • Just ignore those deal, price will keep falling by another 100-200 within a month.

    • +1

at your rate of depreciation, they should be given out free at christmas right ?

      • You never know who will knock on your door this Xmas.

        Hey, it's Santa! :)

    • Thanks for the chart. The S3 price got cheaper rather fast and consistently, then it stayed about the $500 range for many months, which the chart does not show.

Hope the S4 will settle around $500 price.

  • This is the international version which has some lag issues reported by phonedog. The AUS domestic version with snapdragon CPU does not have that problem. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=zOzN_Flj4rY&desktop_uri=%2Fwa…

The US version mentioned is the same aS AUS version in terms if CPU.

  • Is there any difference / benefits between quad core and the octocore processor or is it all just fluff? Ie is the octo actually noticeably faster?

  • Does their 4G version work on Aus Networks?

    • -2

If you dont know, you dont need it.

  • I'm considering this phone, but I will probably end up with the Galaxy SIII instead. Just can't justify +$350 for a .2" bigger screen, lighter phone, and 1080p screen. IMO the screen doesn't look noticeably different at all.

For those considering buying- use your 28 Degree's card (if you have one). Buyer price protection for 6 months! So if Kogan lowers the price, 28 Degree's will refund you the difference.

    • Why don't you do that as well for the S4? I am planning on doing that myself.
