  • Thanks mate, seems like a good price. Bought mine, collecting from local store.

    • Be wary of click and collect for clearance items as some DSE stores don't honour them (e.g. Northpark, SA). I suggest you call your local store once you have your reservation number if you want to be sure.

  • 4 in Dubbo.

Wife has one, they're great. I have the 851 which is a beast.

  • just an FYI - similar retro handsets are on clearance for $10.88 - couldnt resist the sillyness

  • Saw this a few days ago and was tempted to grab one. In the end I decided not to because it'd probably see very little use. Still a great deal though! My local store (Warrnambool) has plenty of stock, and a quick stock search online shows that there are plenty of stores that have stock available (Warrnambool, Hamilton, Wendouree Village, Ballarat, Mt Gambier, Waurn Ponds, Horsham, Werribee, Point Cook, Prahran, Camberwell, Highpoint, Northland, Altona, Sunshine, etc)

  • I bought one of these a while ago and recently returned it. It paired with my phone and then would stop playing music after a couple of minutes, and I would have to re-pair it with bluetooth. Have a read on the internet about reviews etc. Many people have the same problem. Real shame too because I like the idea of these things. Thanks to DSE for allowing me to return the product though..

    • I have one of these in the kitchen and the alarm clock one in the bedroom. I have no issues with either my wifes old SG2 or our current Xperia S phones. The bluetooth connection is stable with the phones and also my vita and our tablets (xoom, N7). what phone were you using it with?

      • Same, sounds like an issue with users phone. We use it with SGS3, Note, Xoom and N7 without issues.

        • In my case i am sure its not phone specific, I have had issue with mine as well…(one week old from dse at this price) sg2, nexus 4, iPad, Bluetooth is just terrible or drops out or pairs but nada audio…I think there is a lot of Doa in this unit, i am saying that because I am on my second unit (replaced by dse) as of today and now it's fine, works with the lot, there are a lot of people who have had similar issues if you dig deep on google. Unfortunately it seems its the luck of the draw.

  • I bought one of these a few weeks ago at about $70. Even at that price it wasa bargain

  • The AS141 is now also $79. The built in clock could be handy.

    • not sure about your phone, but mine's set to show a clock while charging…so…guess it could be handy for when the phone's not on the dock though.

  • +1

They were $30 at clearance section at moonee ponds dicks, I bought 2. Might be good to check other stores if they have them at this price
